Bradley Cooper, 50, ‘asks Gigi Hadid, 30, for her hand in marriage’

Bradley Cooper has reportedly asked Gigi Hadid’s mum Yolanda for her daughter’s hand in marriage.

The 50-year-old actor is said to have spoken to the model’s reality show maven mother for her permission to pop the question.

Hadid and Cooper have been going strong ever since they were first seen together after an apparent weekend away in New York in October 2023.

Prior to going public with their relationship, Hadid dated One Direction singer Zayn Malik between 2015 and 2021 and gave birth to their daughter Khai.

Meanwhile, Cooper shares his eight-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with his supermodel ex Irina Shayk.

Now, Hadid and Cooper are reportedly getting serious about taking a major step in 2026 towards tying the knot, amid plans to raise their children together.

A source told the Daily Mail: ‘[Cooper] wants [Yolanda] to know how serious he is about Gigi and how he plans to build a solid family with her in New York.’

The report claims he has also spoken with his own mother about the plans, while Hadid is said to be aware that a proposal is in the works and has discussed it with her father Mohamed Hadid.

The source added: ‘Yolanda is on board so that was a no-brainer. But Gigi telling her father she wants to marry Bradley is a big step; it’s much more official.’

It comes after Hadid sparked engagement rumours earlier this year, when she was pictured wearing a band on her ring finger while celebrating her 30th birthday.

The mum-of-one previously told Vogue in an interview that dating Cooper gave her a ‘normal experience’ of starting a relationship.

‘Bradley has opened me up to going to the theatre more, and that’s something that’s so nice to bring back into my life,’ she told the publication.

‘You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating, and even for my friends who aren’t public figures, that’s hard. Where do you go? And what? You just start talking to people?’

She continued: ‘I think just getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential, and then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve.

‘You [can] both do work separately to come together and be the best partners that you can be. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky is the word.’
