‘I hit a real low and I told my parents I wanted weight loss surgery after seeing and advert online.
‘I was active, I went to the gym and swimming, but I thought about food like an alcoholic thinks about drink, I was obsessed.’
The singer explained how she wanted the operation to help chase her dreams of stardom and to start a family.
This became a reality in 2022 when she announced her pregnancy with her first child.

During the procedure, surgeons also removed a section of her stomach that was responsible for ghrelin, the hunger-inducing hormone.
It meant that within three months post-operation Rosie managed to shed five stones.
Then, by Christmas she had managed to lose a further seven stone.
All in all since her surgery in April 2015, she has managed to lose 13 stone.
On top of this, she also paid £8,000 for an additional tummy tuck surgery and £6,000 to remove excess skin.
