Britney Spears has disappeared from Instagram after her account appears to have been deleted.
The 43-year-old star has regularly shared videos of herself dancing at home on the social media platform, alongside other clips which have left fans concerned in recent months.
On Saturday, her account had the handle @britneyspears with the screenname XILA MARIA RIVER RED, but the page now directs users to an error page.
Instead of the Lucky hitmaker’s profile, the page now reads: ‘Profile isn’t available. The link may be broken, or the profile may have been removed.’
At this time, it’s not clear whether Britney deleted her own account, or if Instagram suspended or deleted the profile.
Her official page on X is still available, although she hasn’t posted since October 16.
Last month Britney, who has continued to spark concern over seemingly erratic social media posts, shared a photo on Instagram showing herself on horseback.
The post came after she argued against allegations made by ex-husband Kevin Federline in his new memoir, although she didn’t reference him or his comments with the later post.
In the caption, she wrote about Maleficent and the idea of losing her ‘wings’, while she also claimed to have suffered ‘brain damage’ in the past.
While Britney – who was under a conservatorship from 2008 to 2021 – noted the Sleeping Beauty prequel movie doesn’t have ‘any relevance’ to her, she described it as ‘incredibly interesting’ as she reflected on her own life.
‘I had a traumatic experience as some of you know at the end of my book where for 4 months I no longer had my private door and illegally was forced to not use my feet or body to go anywhere,’ she wrote.
‘For a person like me who understands the sacredness is god speed… it did more than hurt my body… trust me there’s ALOT I didn’t share in my book and still things at this very moment I’ve kept hidden because its incredibly painful and sad…’
She described the 2014 film, which featured Angelina Jolie in the led role, as ‘brilliant’, before saying she has ‘moved on’ from the ‘troubling time’ in her own life.

She added: ‘I do feel like my wings were taken away and brain damage happened to me a long time ago 100 percent… I have of course moved on from that troubling time in my life and I’m blessed to be alive.’
Days earlier, the pop star’s followers were worried as she appeared covered in bruises and revealed she had ‘fallen down the stars’ at a friend’s house.
‘My boys had to leave and go back to Maui,’ she wrote of Sean Preston and Jayden James, who she has with ex Kevin Federline.
‘This is the way I express myself and pray through art … father who art in heaven … I’m not here for concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and be better … and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day !!!’
She added: ‘Psss I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house … it was horrible … it snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken but for now it’s snapped in !!! Thank u god.’
A massive bruise could be seen on her wrist as well as smaller bruising across her other arm and the rest of her body.
Fans have also questioned the cleanliness of her home this year, although she later fired back: ‘Shame on those who judged my home in my pajamas!’
Metro has contacted Britney Spears’ representatives for comment.
