Brooke Hogan is on the case, you guys.
A few weeks after her famous dad passed away in Florida, the former reality star and occasional singer says she still has A LOT of questions about what happened to wrestling icon Hulk Hogan.
Did he really pass away from a heart attack on July 24?
Did he really have a history of history of leukemia and atrial fibrillation, a common disorder that causes irregular heartbeats, as confirmed around that time by medical records?
On August 20, Brooke used her Instagram Stories to post a lengthy statement about what she does and does not know about her father’s passing… emphasizing that she’s shared the information with her brother Nick, “who is boots on the ground with everything” as well.
Brooke alleged that she has received “legit calls from professionals- from police officials to nurses that were supposedly with my dad on the day of his death telling ME I need to see body cam footage and I need to get a hold of the 911 tapes because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative.”
Yes, change the narrative.
It’s not clear what Brooke, who hadn’t spoken to Hulk in two years when he died, means by this.
Brooke went on to say those professionals “feel so passionately about what they witnessed, they have continued to contact me and push me to find specific answers to this very day.”
The legendary athlete died at the age of 71 after medics were sent to his home in Clearwater, Florida because he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest.
“I do not have answers as to if the officials who have contacted me about what they witnessed relayed this information to the medical examiner’s office,” Brooke said on Wednesday. “And if they did, I do not know why it wasn’t taken into consideration.”
Hogan was laid to rest in a private funeral on Tuesday, August 5. Brooke did not attend the ceremony.
Brooke previously said her father wanted to be cremated, but still doesn’t know if this is the plan.
She mentioned this week that “all body cam footage and 911 dispatch calls are not available via the freedom of information act” and that she does not know why it’s “on lockdown.”
Brooke also debated whether she should question the fact that Hogan’s primary care doctor certified his cause of death.
Brooke said she ultimately has “zero control” over the situation and that “it’s all up to my dad’s wife [Sky Daily],” as those are the “rules” she’s been told.
The Clearwater Police Department is conducting an investigation into Hulk’s death.
According to a previous press release, the department will not be answering any questions about the investigation, but will provide additional information when it becomes available.
“Daddy, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul. We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved,” Brooke wrote last month.
“Rest in heaven, Daddy.”
