A source has claimed that Brooklyn Beckham is ‘disappointed’ in himself for not attending his father’s birthday celebrations at the weekend.
The footballing legend turned 50 this weekend and celebrated in style with a raucous party that was apparently shut down by the local council in Notting Hill after the party went on until 3.35 am.
The star-studded event was hosted at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Core in Kensington and attended by Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana, Gary Neville, Eva Longoria, film director Guy Ritchie and his wife Jacqui Ainsley, and Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise.
However, David’s eldest son, Brooklyn, was notably absent with claims that there is a feud between the Beckham family and Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz.
A source has now told Metro that Brooklyn is keen to patch things up with his father, and was sad not to attend the party.
‘Brooklyn feels disappointed in himself for not attending David’s 50th birthday party. David was truly in his element surrounded by all of his family and closest friends, it was a great time all around.
‘He wants things to go back to how they were, but it feels as if the divide has separated the family deeply. Nicola isn’t pushing him to repair things either. He’s married now and his wife will continue to be his biggest focus,’ they said.

After reports of a ‘family feud’, Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, reportedly flew back to the US on Saturday before the party kicked off.
On the same day of the bash, Nicola shared an emotional post on Instagram, alongside a photo of her two late grandmothers as she paid tribute to their memory.
It’s believed that Victoria and David had hoped their son and daughter-in-law would make an appearance at the party, with a source telling The Sun at the weekend: ‘David is heartbroken but putting a brave face on it. Tonight is all about celebration and love, and he is swimming in it.
‘Brooklyn actually informed his parents a while ago that he and his wife, Nicola, would not be attending but, of course, David and Victoria desperately hoped he would change his mind.’

It’s unclear why the family has been divided recently, but it has been suggested that Kim Turnball, Romeo’s new girlfriend, dated Brooklyn before she got into a relationship with Romeo, which has caused a rift between the brothers.
Although Cruz has rubbished claims that Brooklyn and Kim ever dated, it has still been reported that there are ongoing tensions within the family.
TMZ reported that Brooklyn and Romeo have fallen out since Kim came onto the scene, as Brooklyn and Kim dated as teenagers in 2016. The outlet claimed that Brooklyn and Nicola question if Kim has the right intentions when it comes to dating Romeo.
They also added that sources informed them that Brooklyn and his wife will no longer attend family events where Kim will be present.

Victoria Beckham celebrated her birthday on April 17, and while the rest of the family wished the former Spice Girl well on her special day, the couple was notably silent.
This was surprising for the duo, who have previously been keen to wish the star well publicly on her special day.
Victoria and David also stayed silent on Brooklyn and Nicola’s third wedding anniversary in April.
Posh and Becks didn’t celebrate their eldest son on social media, nor like or comment on the couple’s post about their milestone. Typically, the couple has been very vocal about these types of celebration, so the silence surprised some fans.
Metro has reached out to David Beckham and Brooklyn Beckham’s representatives for comment.
