Brooklyn Beckham is throwing his support behind a new project in the United States as rumours rage he is embroiled in a ‘family fallout’.

Over the past week David Beckham has been ringing in his milestone 50th birthday with a string of events, including a party at his and wife Victoria Beckham’s £10,000,000 home in the Cotswolds and a star-studded dinner at the three-Michelin-star restaurant Core in Kensington.

The couple have been joined at these events by their children Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.

However notably absent has been Brooklyn, 26, which comes as reports claim the eldest Beckham child is at odds with his family, as is his wife Nicola Peltz, 30.

Over the years Brooklyn has pursued a career as a footballer, done modelling, worked as a photographer and become a chef.

In recent years he’s been living between Los Angeles and Miami with his wife, an actress and model, with the pair also now taking on a new job that will keep them busy in the US, where Nicola and her family are from.

The couple are launching the Peltz Beckham Foundation, which aims to rescue and shelter homeless dogs in Los Angeles.

They have filed paperwork in California to register the non-profit under both their names, as reported by The Sun.

Brooklyn and Nicola are believed to have decided to set up their new charity following the death of two of their dogs.

After their dog Bear died in 2023, last year their chihuahua Nala died after a grooming appointment.

Soon after Nicola claimed her pooch died as a result of ‘intentional and malicious abuse’ at the hands of a dog groomer and filed a lawsuit against the company’s owner.

‘I’ve dedicated most of my life to saving dogs and I can’t in good conscience let this horrifying act happen to more families,’ she shared on Instagram.

‘I will work for changes and laws to help make sure no one else ever has to experience this heartbreak. I will always use my voice to protect our innocent babies.’

The last update on the case came in February when the dog groomer accused Nicola of ‘comparative negligence’.

In 2022 Nicola also spoke about supporting a dog shelter called Yogi’s House and said she had helped ‘saved over 30 dogs from euthanasia’.

The reports on their latest project comes after Brooklyn and Nicola failed to attend any of the events for David’s birthday – despite the couple also being in the UK last week.

Brooklyn also missed a fishing and camping trip to Scotland that David organised with his sons for his 50th.

Posting a series of photos from the holiday earlier this week, he shared: ‘You were missed @brooklynpeltzbeckham.’

Despite the ongoing reports of a family fallout, Brooklyn and Nicola have not commented on the rumours, also failing to send his dad any sort of public birthday message.

Metro has contacted representatives for Brooklyn Beckham for comment.
