Brooklyn Beckham has dodged questions about his mother following the release of Victoria Beckham’s Netflix documentary.

Amid persistent reports of a rift between Brooklyn, 26, and his family , Victoria and David’s eldest was hosting the Blue Moon Burger Bash 2.0 in New York City.

He had been answering questions outside the venue when he was asked what he thought about Victoria’s recent tell-all documentary.

While some had wondered whether Victoria’s documentary might address the rift, the Beckhams’ eldest doesn’t appear at all – save for footage from his upbringing in America.

With Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz absent from the premiere of Victoria’s self-titled documentary, its release only raised more questions.

And, as a reporter from Daily Mail broached the subject, Brooklyn found himself on the spot.

Brooklyn, who was hosting the event with celebrity chef Rachael Ray, was fielding questions on other topics when the reporter quizzed him over Victoria’s documentary.

‘What do you think of your mom’s documentary?’ the reporter asked, as Brooklyn strode off.

Pushing through the crowd, Brooklyn could be seen turning his back on reporters as he headed inside the venue.

Food Network star Rachael has hosted the annual event for the last 16 years – but was joined by Brooklyn as he promoted his new hot sauce brand, Cloud23.

Brooklyn’s silence over his mother’s documentary is the latest sign of disharmony among the Beckham brood.

Earlier this month, Brooklyn was absent as fashion designer Victoria debuted a new collection at Paris Fashion Week.

Husband David was in attendance, along with sons Harper, Cruz and Romeo – but Brooklyn was once again nowhere to be seen.

This comes after sources claimed that Victoria was done ‘fighting the same fight’ in her alleged rift with Brooklyn, and wants to draw a line in the sand.

An insider told The Mirror: ‘Enough is enough.

‘It was very much a roller coaster of emotions because of the big thing that’s still affecting her, her fractured relationship with Brooklyn.

The tabloid’s source continued: ‘But it also made her realise that she can’t keep raking over the heartbreak of this situation with him.’

‘She knows he will, one day, come back to her, but it’s just not the right time; that’s how she’s looking at it now.

‘This project has made her realise how blessed she is to have her family around her and supporting her.’

Brooklyn himself weighed in on speculation surrounding his private night, telling the Daily Mail: ‘There’s always going to be people saying negative things, but I have a very supportive wife.’

Brooklyn – who was accused of ‘snubbing’ brother Romeo on his 23rd birthday last month – continued: ‘Me and her, we just do our thing; we just keep our heads down and work. And we’re happy.’

Insisting that he ‘never worries’ about what others say, Brooklyn added: ‘Everyone is always going to say rubbish. I just try and do this—play some golf with some friends. It’s good fun.’

Victoria is streaming on Netflix UK now.
