Bruce Willisâ wife, Emma Heming Willis, was spotted out with their rarely seen daughters just days after the actorâs recent outing.
On Sunday, Emma and her teenage girls, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, were seen running errands in Santa Monica.
In the photos shared by the Daily Mail, Emma can be seen sporting a casual look in a white shirt paired with oversized jeans and red sneakers. Her sweater was wrapped around her shoulder, completing her laid-back look.
Meanwhile, Mabel and Evelyn seemed to be in good spirits, smiling and chatting as they walked side by side behind their mother. Both teenage girls opted for a casual look during their stroll.
Bruce Willis’ Public Outing Amid Dementia Battle
GettyThe familyâs latest outing came just days after Bruce was seen in public amid his dementia battle. In photos shared by the Daily Mail, the “Die Hard” icon can be seen strolling in Los Angeles with his caregiver.
Bruce sported a casual look, wearing a dark grey shirt and khaki pants. He also opted for a pair of grey sneakers, a baseball hat, and black sunglasses.
The actor appeared to be in a good mood as he smiled while walking hand in hand with his carer. At one point, Bruce reached for the railing, seemingly using it for support.
In August, Emma revealed that Bruce had been moved into a separate home, with a dedicated care team looking after him full-time.
Emma faced backlash for the decision, but she clarified that it’s what’s best for Bruce. In an interview with The Sunday Times, she admitted that it was “one of the hardest decisions” she ever had to make.
“But among the sadness and discomfort, it was the right move â for him, for our girls, for me,” she added. “Ultimately, I could get back to being his wife. And that’s such a gift.”
Emma Shares How Daughters Cope
GettyPreviously, Emma opened up about how she and her daughters cope with Bruce’s condition. In an interview with Vogue Australia last month, she revealed that Mabel and Evelyn are “doing well, all things considered.”
“They grieve, they miss their dad so much,” Emma added. “He’s missing important milestones, that’s tough for them – but kids are resilient, [although] I used to hate hearing that because people didn’t understand what we were walking through.”
Emma also admitted that she doesn’t know if they’ll be able to recover from this, but they’re trying their best.
“I don’t know if my kids will ever bounce back, but they’re learning and so am I,” she told the outlet.
