If £70 is too steep an asking price for Ghost Of Yōtei on PS5, there is a way to buy it for £25 less than usual.
With publishers constantly raising the prices of video games, it’s all the more important to try and find discounts whenever the next big game launches.
That’s easier said than done, since while some retailers will offer reductions when new releases are out, they’re usually not that much cheaper and typically only shave off 10% or so.
With today’s launch of Ghost Of Yōtei, though, it’s possible to nab the PlayStation 5 exclusive for as little as £44.99, if you know where to look.
How to get Ghost Of Yōtei cheap in the UK
We searched for attractive deals on Sony’s latest blockbuster and retailers such as Amazon and HMV are offering the game at the usual 10% discount, cutting its usual asking price of £70 down to £62.99.
The best deal we could find was at Argos, which is selling the game for £59.99. However, it’s possible to get it even cheaper through savings app TopCashback.

Rather than offer a discount code, anyone who registers for a TopCashback account via this link will receive a signup bonus of £15, which can be applied to purchases from retailers like Argos.
So, while you do need to pay Argos’ asking price, TopCashback will then send £15 back to you through your account.
If you’re interested, you simply need to find Argos on TopCashback’s website, after signing up, and select the ‘Get Cashback now’ option. Then you can purchase Ghost Of Yōtei as normal, although you will need to wait up to a week to receive your £15.
This £15 bonus is only being offered to new TopCashback customers, so you can’t take advantage of the deal if you’re already signed up.
£44.99 is definitely the cheapest Ghost Of Yōtei is at the moment, since the next best offer is Hit’s 12% discount, bringing the game down to £61.85.
Is Ghost Of Yōtei worth it?
If you read our review, you’ll know we very much enjoyed our time with Ghost Of Yōtei. It’s certainly one of the best-looking games ever made, and it’s packed with things to do so you’ll be getting your money’s worth.
That said, the combat is pretty shallow, and it does little to innovate the open world formula of its predecessor, Ghost Of Tsushima, which was already outdated when it came out in 2020.
However, Ghost Of Yōtei will be getting a co-op multiplayer mode in 2026, entitled Ghost Of Yōtei: Legends, which is itself a follow-up to Ghost Of Tsushima’s multiplayer mode.
It will function more-or-less identically and offer a more fantastical experience compared to the main game, since you and your friends will need to fight demons as well as more monstrous versions of the base game’s main villains, the Yōtei Six.
The similar mode in Ghost Of Tsushima greatly improved the experience, so hopefully that’ll be true of the follow-up too.
