According to TMZ, Carson Kressley took to his Instagram to not only share a picture of himself with Anne Burrell, but to remark on their friendship. Carson began, “Rest easy, Chef Anne. I’m so blessed I was able to work with you, learn from you, laugh with you.”
The entertainer continued, “So many memories – on screen and off – I cherish this photo of us living our best lives, as the kids say. It’s one of my favorite memories – just swimming in the ocean after a great lunch.”
Carson then said of Anne Burrell, “Good food, good friends, PS Anne loved this photo of us, so I know she’d be happy I chose this one. and lots of love and laughter all around. That’s what I wish for you where you are now.” He concluded, ” I’ll see you again someday, dear friend.”
Anne Burrell and Carson Kressley Appeared on Shows Together
Anne Burrell and Carson Kressley were great friends. However, they also had professional ties as they appeared on a couple of shows together. According to Food Network, the two were on “Battle for the Bird.”
In “Battle for the Bird,” Anne and Carson worked together to judge two competing Thanksgiving meals. Ultimately, the winner of the competition received a $10,000 prize. This isn’t the only show he appeared on with Food Network star Anne Burrell. He was also on “Worst Cooks in America.”
Still, as mentioned, it seems their most significant ties came from the real-life friendship they formed. This is also true for Anne’s several other industry friends who have paid tribute to the chef.

Anne Burrell is survived by her husband, Stuart Claxton. The two tied the knot in 2021 after having met in 2018. She also leaves behind her stepson, with whom she was also close. Additionally, Anne’s mother and two siblings are also mourning the renowned chef.Â
