Cassie Ventura has shared her fear of retribution if her ex Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs walks free at his sentencing on Friday.

The music mogul, 55, was denied bail by a judge this summer following months of court hearings where he was later found guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution.

He was cleared of the most serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering and is now is due to be sentenced in New York on Friday

Cassie, who testified about her alleged abusive 11-year relationship with Combs during the trial, submitted a victim impact statement to Judge Arun Subramanian on Monday in which she asked him to consider a sentence that reflects ‘the reality of the evidence and my lived experience as a victim’.

The Me & U singer revealed in her letter, shared with Rolling Stone, that she and her family have moved out of the New York area because she is worried that Combs or his associates ‘will come after (them)’.

‘I am so scared that if he walks free, his first actions will be swift retribution towards me and others who spoke up about his abuse at trial,’ she wrote.

‘As much progress as I have made in recovering from his abuse, I remain very much afraid of what he is capable of and the malice he undoubtedly harbors towards me for having the bravery to tell the truth.’

Cassie also hit back at Combs’s attorneys’ claim that he is a ‘changed man’, alleging that he was ‘the manipulator, the aggressor, the abuser, the trafficker’ to her, and he has ‘no interest in changing or becoming better’.

‘He will always be the same cruel, power-hungry, manipulative man that he is,’ she continued. ‘My experience was real, horrific and deserves to be considered.’

Cassie, real name Casandra Ventura, dated Combs on and off between 2007 and 2018.

She is now married to model and actor Alex Fine and they share three children together. She testified while eight months pregnant with their son.

Cassie added in her letter: ‘For four days in May, while nine months pregnant with my son, I testified in front of a packed courtroom about the most traumatic and horrifying chapter in my life.

What was the verdict in the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs case?

Racketeering conspiracy: Not guilty

Sex trafficking of Cassie Ventura: Not guilty

Transportation for prostitution of Ventura and others: Guilty

Sex trafficking of woman known as “Jane”: Not guilty

Transportation for prostitution of “Jane” and others: Guilty

‘I testified that from age nineteen, Sean Combs used violence, threats, substances, and control over my career to trap me in over a decade of abuse. He groomed me into performing repeated sex acts with hired male sex workers during multi-day “freak offs”, which occurred nearly weekly.

‘I was forced into lingerie and heels, told exactly how to look, and plied with drugs and alcohol so he could control me like a puppet.

‘These events were degrading and disgusting, leaving me with infections, illnesses, and days of physical and emotional exhaustion before he demanded it all again. Sex acts became my full-time job, used as the only way to stay in his good graces.’

Lawyers for the disgraced rapper have urged a federal judge to sentence Combs with no more than 14 months in prison, which would mean he would go free almost immediately if granted.
