Tensions are well and truly rising on Celebrity Traitors this week as fingers are pointing towards faithful TV star Kate Garraway, with Tom Daley leaving fans in stitches at his pointed side-eye.
The Good Morning Britain presenter became the centre of suspicion following the emotional aftermath of Paloma Faith’s murder, to which she exclaimed, ‘I’m flabbergasted.’
Singer Cat Burns – who is a traitor – and faithful TV presenter Clare Balding were quick to suggest Kate was ‘overdoing her reaction’ – calling it dramatic and suspicious.
Then Olympian Tom Daley was caught giving Garraway a sharp side-eye; a moment that fans instantly ran away with as the show’s most iconic moment so far this series.
When chatting with newfound ally, Charlotte Church, Daley questioned Garraway’s reaction: ‘I was flabbergasted, who uses that word?’ adding, ‘You know when you get a vibe from someone.’
@Boronshark took to X to comment: ‘Tom Daley giving SERIOUS side eye on The Traitors.’

‘That side eye Tom Daley gave Kate was the highlight of the year,’ @nellostillkows added.
@liloldwheeeezy found it hysterical: ‘The SIDE EYE Tom Daley just gave kate oh my god ahahahahaha.’

‘Clare Balding and Tom Daley’s campaign against Kate Garraway is sensational,’ said RyanJL, while @laurenbramley13 said: ‘Clare Balding keeping her eye on Kate Garraway like her favourite on the Grand National.’
The latest episode of the hit BBC series saw alliances fracture and paranoia reach new heights as the celebrities gathered for the game’s first murder reveal.

At the start of the hour-long instalment, Claudia Winkleman revealed that one of the 19 contestants had already been poisoned overnight by the traitors.
The slow-release toxin would take effect during the day, with the doomed faithful unknowingly carrying their fate until the final challenge.
Dressed in mourning attire, the celebrities followed Claudia – who, of course, arrived dramatically on horseback – to a misty Scottish graveyard.
There, she explained that the traitors had chosen their first victim, and it was up to the group to figure out who.
The players carried three coffins through the cemetery, debating which of the three ‘nominees’ – Lucy Beaumont, Niko Omilana, or Paloma Faith – had been targeted.
Each of the three was asked to lie in a coffin as the group tried to deduce who was fated to ‘die.’

After a heated debate, the celebrities decided that Lucy was the one marked for death.
But Claudia had one final twist, closing the lid on Paloma’s coffin and in turn confirming she was the murdered faithful.
Gasps filled the graveyard as Paloma’s coffin was sealed shut, marking her dramatic exit from the competition.
The traitors behind her death were of course Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, and Cat Burns, who had secretly formed the show’s deadly alliance the night before.
Carr, who was tasked with carrying out the murder, had been instructed to rub his hands on the pollen of a poisoned black lily before touching his chosen target’s face.
When he brushed his hand against Paloma’s face, the deed was done, though none of the other contestants – including Paloma – realised it at the time.

Fans praised Claudia’s choice of traitors, hailing Alan Carr in particular as ‘TV gold.’
Now all eyes are on poor Good Morning Britain presenter Kate, whose emotional responses are attracting too much attention and whispers from other contestants.
Many viewers are now concerned that Garraway is doomed at the round table despite being a faithful.
The episode was left on a cliffhanger with equal votes for Garraway and Niko – so will the remaining contestants be able to catch a traitor, or will an innocent faithful be sent packing?
The series airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9pm on BBC One, with episodes available to stream on iPlayer.
