Celebs Go Dating star Anna Williamson opened up on the ‘vulnerable’ feeling of her child going through surgery.
The reality TV star, 44, sharesseven-year-old Vincenzo as well as daughter Eleonora, five, with husband Alex Di Pasquale, who she married in October 2015.
She shared a selfie from the hospital, appearing close to tears as she shared that her child was awaiting a procedure, but did not disclose what for or which child.
‘Is there a more vulnerable lonesome feeling than leaving your child as they go into surgery,’ she wrote.
‘I’m feeling even more emotional because everyone at Addensbrooke’s [Hospital] paediatrics is just so lovely.’
She shared an update with fans hours later, writing ‘All done. So relieved.’

Anna updated fans again in a video message after the ‘busy day’, jokingly welcoming her followers ‘to the boudoir’ from her hospital bed.
‘I feel exhausted. I was up at the crack of dawn – before dawn actually, like 5am – obviously taking one of my little ones into hospital. But we’re all home and all is well.’
She went on to thank fans for their support after reading through their messages.
‘So many other parents were really empathising with having to support your little one in surgery,’ she continued.
‘I just wanted to say I know lots of people have got kids with operations coming up, and honestly, hang on in there.
‘It’ll be fine if it’s anything like the experience I had today. Just the best people looking after your kiddies. We’re very very lucky.’

She wrote over the video that she ‘looked knackered’ while asking her husband for a Thai massage after the stressful ordeal.
The popstar previously opened up on how she almost died during childbirth when welcoming her son.
‘The medical team was very swift in helping me, but I wasn’t really conscious for my son’s birth. I heard him cry, which I’m pleased about, but I suffered a large haemorrhage, so I didn’t actually see or hold my son for an hour or so until after the birth and I had come round,’ she told Metro.
‘It was deeply upsetting for me and I struggled to process everything that had gone on.’
‘I actually felt nothing, and that was the worst thing of all,’ she continued. ‘I wanted to feel something, anything.
‘I wanted to be head-over-heels in love with my baby and not care about what had just happened to my body, but the truth is I felt traumatised by the near-death situation I had just faced. I was in no fit state to care for a baby.’
Anna Williamson’s representatives declined to comment when contacted by Metro.
