Channing Tatum looked utterly bewildered as he learned about Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell’s pregnancy.
Before the new series got underway, the pro dancer announced that she and boyfriend Joe Sugg are expecting their first baby together, while she has been strutting her stuff each week with celebrity partner Stefan Dennis.
The couple were both guests on Thursday’s episode of The One Show with Hollywood actor Channing also on the red sofa.
At one point, host Alex Jones offered ‘huge congratulations’ to Dianne, joking that ‘there’s actually three of you dancing’.
The 36-year-old star smiled as she said ‘there are three of us dancing’, but Alex had to quickly interject as she appeared to notice Channing’s confusion.

‘Diane’s expecting a baby,’ she clarified, while the Roofman star admitted he was ‘not understanding’ what was happening on the show anymore.

He quipped that Strictly seemed ‘different to Dancing With The Stars’ as people joked that he must’ve been thinking that three dancers were actually allowed to perform together on the BBC show.
In a sweet moment, Dianne also took a moment to reflect on the ‘magical’ journey she’s on.
‘It’s really exciting. Thank you so much. Yeah, that was very cool. And when I’m out there, I often think I’ve got a little bunny just dancing along with us,’ she smiled. ‘It’s really cool. It’s a magical experience.’

The 2024 Strictly champ has been supported by her co-stars and the producers since sharing her joyous news, while she has assured fans that she will compete as normal for as long as she can.
This year, the 36-year-old star has been partnered with Neighbours legend Stefan, 66, with the pair impressing viewers.
However, fans recently came to their defence after some constructive feedback for his cha cha, with one of Motsi Mabuse’s comments appearing to rub people up the wrong way.

The couple scored 17 for their routine to Give It Up by KC and The Sunshine Band, and Motsi said: ‘You have a brilliant partnership, and you have a brilliant energy; you guys are like sunshine when you pair up together.
‘I am gonna have to address the elephant in the room: there were lots of tiny, tiny mistakes everywhere … just try next time to rehearse, stick to the routine…’
Taking it on the chin, Dianne butted in, laughing: ‘I don’t know how much more we can rehearse, Motsi!’
‘Find a way! Find a way! I don’t know,’ Motsi replied. ‘But we have to get one performance without those tiny creepers in there. You guys are brilliant together; it’s a shame.’

Viewer @dreamofbuswell said the quip was ‘uncalled for’ given Dianne’s pregnancy, and other fans agreed.
Taking to X, @strictlylmx accused Motsi of being ‘ignorant’, adding: ‘i feel like telling the eldest contestant with the pregnant pro to rehearse more when they have been doing long days and its clear it was because of nerves and not lack of rehearsal is an extremely unfair thing to say’.
‘I thought Strictly capped the amount of hours they could rehearse to 8 hours a day? So how can the judges be giving out comments like ‘you need to rehearse more’ when they’ve been doing their 8 hours a day.. every day… they aren’t allowed…’, @Carlee3091 pointed out.
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
