
Denise Richards participated in ex-husband Charlie Sheen‘s Netflix documentary, “aka Charlie Sheen,” earlier this year. She opened up about their courtship, their marriage and their divorce before sharing her current feelings about her former spouse.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 54, broke down in tears during her appearance in the documentary, which premiered on the streamer in September.
“What he put me through, I donât know how Iâm here, to be honest,” she said of their tumultuous split. “I think the only way through tragedy, what I was going through, was having a [expletive] sense of humor because it was so bad.”
Despite the drama, the exes have seemingly move on, as Richards admitted she still has feelings for her ex-husband.
“I still love him,” Richards said during part two.
The exes — who tied the knot in 2002 after beginning their courtship on the set of his sitcom “Spin City” the year prior — welcomed daughters Sami and Lola before divorcing in 2006.
According to Richards, Sheen was “nervous” about asking her on a date.
“Thatâs the thing that people would be surprised by â Charlie can be very shy,” she revealed. “As soon as [“Two and a Half Men”] started getting really successful, I think the pressure of that changed him. It was almost like he was sabotaging the success and sabotaging our family.”
She continued, “The truth is, I feel like my life with Charlie is three stages. Itâs the time I met him and married him, then my divorce. Then the aftermath of it.”

Nearly two months after the documentary’s release, Sheen, 60, sat down with Bill Maher for an appearance on the “Club Random” podcast.
“I also remember from the documentary, Denise Richards saying⦔ Maher began on the Monday, October 27, episode.
Sheen jumped in, “I was a little shy?”
He went on to admit that it was “nice to hear” the kind words Richards had to say about him, including that he’s “not at all what people think.”
“She obviously still loves you,” Maher asserted, to which Sheen simply said, “Yeah.”
“Love is eternal. Passion is often not,” Maher added.
During his two-part documentary, the “Two and a Half Men” star recalled meeting his future wife, calling it an “instant fantasy.”
“She was the hottest woman alive at the time,” he claimed.
