Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie are doing press for their new fantasy romance film, “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.”
The two made an appearance on the “Today Show” on Tuesday, September 16. PageSix reports that one hilarious moment took place during that appearance, where Farrell dropped an expletive on live television.
Colin Farrell’s Little ‘Whoopsie’
Farrell and Robbie discussed their favorite snacks while on the NBC morning show. One specific snack they talked about was something they described as a “crisp” or “chippy” sandwich, said PageSix.
Farrell revealed that one of his jobs while on set was to bring Robbie this snack. He also lists the ingredients for the host of the show, Craig Melvin.
“Tayto cheese and onion, white bread, white, cheap bread, thick butter,” Farrell reveals. “And I brought one in every morning for her. That was my job every night was to make that for her.â
All three of them received one of these snacks and began to eat them. “I haven’t had breakfast yet, this is perfect,” Robbie quips before Farrell and Melvin sample their sandwiches.
âThatâs not bad. Is that Tayto?” Farrell guesses as he scarfs down the snack. “That is Tayto. Is that Tayto? It is.â
Someone then told him that he was right. Farrell responded by saying a more colorful version of, “I knew it.” (Use your imagination.)
Aftermath of the Little ‘Whoopsie’

According to PageSix, Melvin, Robbie, and Farrell themselves were all caught off guard.
Farrell claimed to have been misheard after he received a nudge from his female co-star.
“Full mouth,” Farrell backpedalled, while pointing to his mouth and the food that was still being chewed. “They misheard me.”
Melvin bails him out by offering, “Yeah, they misheard you. You said ‘freaking’.”
Farrell Has Admired Robbie For a Long Time

Despite both Robbie and Farrell being veterans in Hollywood, their upcoming film is the first time they have starred in a movie together.
“Ever since I saw her in ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’, I was blown away,â Farrell told Stellar. âIt took me about two years after that to find out that she was Australian, and Iâve just wanted to work with her since then.â
“The Wolf of Wall Street” came out in 2013, meaning that Farrell has been a fan of his co-star for over a decade.
This interview with Stellar also revealed one thing Farrell was relieved about in making this new film.
“It was such a relief not only to not be under the make-up,” Farrell revealed. “That was a bit scary, actually, because I thought, what if Iâm (expletive) forevermore without prosthetics now?”
