The 21-year-old shared the post on Aug. 7 alongside a childhood photo of himself with his seven siblings: twins Mady and Cara, now 24, and fellow sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Leah and Joel.

“Born to be a team, us against the world,” Gosselin wrote in the caption, set to Adele’s “Hometown Glory.” In a second photo showing him wearing sunglasses in a car, he added, “Forced to do it alone, and wonder every day what our lives could’ve looked like.”

In the video’s caption, Gosselin wrote: “Forced apart, pitted against each other. All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids?”

Remembering Bonds & Addressing the Past

“I will always love them more than anything,” he continued. “The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could’ve shared. I love you guys.”

When a fan asked about his relationship with sister Hannah, Gosselin responded that the two remain close. “I just saw [Hannah] today! She was worried her car wouldn’t pass inspection so I was looking at it for her. She’s so funny and I love her [so much]. It makes my day whenever I see her, but we’re both so busy with work, school etc.”

The former TLC child star also shared his hopes for the future. “I can’t wait to have kids and teach them the importance of siblings,” he wrote. “I tell all my friends who have siblings to always value their siblings and hold each other close.”

Gosselin, who has previously said he is estranged from his mother, Kate Gosselin, has alleged in past interviews that growing up on reality television caused deep family divisions. He has claimed he was “forced apart” from his siblings and faced “physical and emotional abuse,” allegations Kate has denied through her attorney, per People.

Following his parents’ 2009 divorce, Kate was awarded custody of the children. In 2016, she sent Collin to a behavioral health program, citing “unpredictable and violent behavior.” Two years later, his father, Jon Gosselin, was awarded custody of Collin and Hannah.

Both Collin and Hannah graduated from high school in 2023. Collin later enlisted in the Marines but was discharged in 2023.

This latest message marks one of the most personal public statements Collin has made about his siblings in recent years. While he remains close with Hannah, his comments suggest that he continues to hold onto hope for mending ties with the rest of the family.
