After over 17 years together, the couple exchanged vows Friday, Dec. 12.
Their big day took place at the Chiesa di Santo Stefano degli Abissini, a small, stunning church tucked behind St. Peterâs Basilica, marking a new chapter in their enduring relationship, according to TMZ.
The couple spoke with Us Weekly to give details on the big day.
âToday is an incredibly special day and a beautiful continuation of our life together,â Devlin told the outlet.
McGregor expressed a similar sentiment as well.
âI only dream big â and this day is big,â he added. âDee wanted to make sure the ceremony reflected our love, and our children â the center of our worlds. I am forever indebted for what God has given us.â
The Two Have Been Together Almost 20 Years
McGregor, 37, and Devlin, 38, first met in Dublin in 2008 and have built a life together that includes four children: Conor Jr., CroÃa, RÃan and Mack.
The athlete told the outlet how happy he was to have his children their for their special day.
âWe spent the last few years growing our family. We now are the parents of the four incredible children who are the little loves of our hearts,â he added. âWe wanted them to be part of the big day, and now they will be. Together, we are unstoppable.â
Despite McGregorâs high-profile career in the UFC and his forays into film and business, their relationship has long stood as a constant in his life â Devlin often described as his steadfast supporter through both triumphs and challenges.
McGregor Gushes About His Wife
McGregor told the outlet how much he loves and cares for his wife.
âI met Dee almost two decades ago, when I expected to be a plumber and she was working in a hospital. Every day since, she has believed in me, stood by me, and grown with me,â he told the outlet.
He also spoke how he admires everything about her.
âDeeâs love is fierce, and her smile and heart are like no other. This is the happiest day of my life, and I am marrying the woman of my dreams,â he added.
McGregor popped the question back in 2020.
âWhat a birthday, my future wife,â he wrote as she shared an image to social media. The two were beaming as she showed off the stunning ring.
