Daisy May Cooper has announced that she’s given birth to her third child early after going through a ‘scary’ labour.

In an Instagram post, the This Country star shared a video of herself paying her newborn a visit, in what appeared to be a NICU (neonatal intensive care ward).

The 37-year-old was wheeled to see her son in an incubator, before placing her right arm through a hole on the side so that she could gentle caress him.

In her caption, in which she also revealed her baby’s adorable name, she wrote: ‘What a bloody week…

‘You came a bit earlier than we expected and gave me the worst post op constipation that I nearly had to phone the samaratins but my god you are perfect.

‘I cannot thank @deliverysuitegrh enough. The way you looked after us through such a scary time was above and beyond. You are all bloody superstars. I am so blessed

‘Welcome to the world little Benji, ya nutter. Born 06/06/24.’

In March this year, Daisy was pictured shopping for baby clothes while looking extremely loved-up with her partner, Bristol-based artist Anthony Huggins.

She was previously married to Will Weston, with whom she shares two children, a daughter and a son born in 2018 and 2020 respectively.

The ex-couple were first reported to have split in July 2021, 10 months after their son was born.

Following the birth of her third child, Daisy has been inundated with messages of support and congratulations.

Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Giovanna Fletcher commented on Instagram: ‘Sending so much love!! Congratulations! Xxx.’
