I’m A Celebrity campmate Danny Jones has lost favour with the general public ahead of the ITV show’s final according to the latest odds.
The McFly star, 38, has been the favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle and make ‘reality TV show history’ since the jungle antics kicked off more than two weeks ago.
But now bookmakers BetMGM are predicting Coleen Rooney, 38, will emerge triumphant after spilling on her life with husband Wayne and Wagatha Christie debacle with Rebekah Vardy.
It comes as fans have complained Danny has lacked any humourous ‘standout’ moments, compared to his co-stars like Melvin Odoom’s obsession with Carol Vorderman.
Wag Coleen’s odds to win I’m A Celebrity are now 5/4 with Danny trailing behind her in second place at 7/4.
He’s followed by Reverend Richard Coles, who has seen his odds shorten to 9/2 but is now third favourite, with Maura Higgins next having drifted considerably from 17/2 to 20/1 ahead of GK Barry (25/1).

I’m A Celebrity 2024 winner odds
Coleen Rooney – 5/4
Danny Jones – 7/4
Richard Coles – 9/2
Maura Higgins – 20/1
GK Barry – 25/1
Alan Halsall – 33/1
Sam Behar, UK Director at BetMGM, said: ‘Having been favourite to win the show for the past two weeks, McFly’s Danny Jones has been surpassed, with the money seen for Coleen Rooney moving her into 5/4 favourite.
‘It is tight at the top of the market, with Jones at 7/4 ahead of Richard Coles at 9/2, with the top three well ahead of Maura Higgins who is currently back at 20/1.
‘The odds for the rest of the campmates are long, and after Higgins comes GK Barry (25/1), Alan Halsall (33/1) and Oti Mabuse (66/1).’
On Reddit, I’m A Celebrity fans have said they are no longer backing Danny to win despite being ‘lovely’ as other campmates have brought more entertainment to the show.

michaelmac4057 said: ‘I really like him and i was a fan of his before the show however for me he hasn’t had really any stand out moments in the show so far. He’s obviously lovely and i think he deserves the final probably but just don’t really want him to win like a lot of polls etc suggest.
‘I think Maura and Richard i would rather for me as they have been really funny since they both entered the jungle and boosted this series for me. I think Oti has been great too and i have loved Coleen shes just been sweet and very open as a person.’
Agreeing, Student-Bored8 wrote: ‘Honestly same. I think he will take it but Maura and GK have me laughing so much that I want it to be them. Plus Oti and Rev are so sweet.’
Low_Food2893 added: ‘He’s a really nice guy, don’t get me wrong, but if he wins it was predetermined by his fanbase before the show started. He hasn’t had any standout moments differentiating himself from any of the others, nor do I think he is winner material.’

Since entering the jungle, Danny has contended navigating trouser snakes, opened up about suffering from anxiety and been stitched up by his wife Georgia Horsley, 37.
Georgia told Hannah Cooper on the Never Have I Ever podcast that he had ‘lied’ about his fears to ITV bosses.
She explained: ‘He said he’s scared of snakes. [Rubbish]. World exclusive: [Rubbish]. So, everyone vote for the tasks that don’t involve snakes, please!’
‘He’s not scared of snakes, but he said he is – that’s a double bluff.’
Georgia continued to say: ‘So, he’s now going to get tasks with snakes… I think they think Danny’s a really genuine guy!’
I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
