A surprise Stranger Things reunion took place in New York City over the weekend, as several of the cast came together to celebrate Maya Hawke’s Valentine’s Day wedding.
However, David Harbour was not present at the ceremony, despite being spotted close by while on a walk with a woman in the Big Apple.
On Saturday, Maya Hawke, who plays fan-favourite character Robin Buckley in the Netflix sci-fi series, was photographed walking along the pavement with her wedding party, wearing a white gown, matching heels, a veil and a jacket with white feathers on the trim.
Her new husband, musician Christian Lee Hutson, wore a black tuxedo, while Stranger Things stars including Sadie Sink, Joe Keery and Gaten Matarazzo were photographed seemingly following a black dress code.
Other stars from the show in attendance, which recently released its fifth and final season, included Finn Wolfhard, Natalia Dyer and Caleb McLaughlin, in pictures obtained by People. Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp were seemingly absent from the ceremony.
It’s unknown whether Harbour was invited to the nuptials, but he happened to be very close by on the day.
The actor, whose split from Lily Allen after four years of marriage was confirmed in February 2025, was seen strolling in an olive green coat, a blue cap and beige trousers.
He was walking with a woman who wore a black coat, black boots and a matching cap.
Following the breakdown of his marriage to the British popstar, Harbour, 50, told GQ in an April 2025 interview that he was going through a ‘period of growth’.
‘I’m learning how to swim in this – whatever it is. Learning how to float. Learning how to make it not about me,’ he said at the time.
In October 2025, Allen, 40, subsequently released her fifth studio album West End Girl, telling The Sunday Times: ‘There are definitely things I experienced within my relationship that have ended up on this album.’
Her lyrics made references to an ‘arrangement’ that they had, alluding to the fact that they might have had an open relationship.
Allen sang about a woman called ‘Madeline’, who appeared to have had a sexual relationship with Harbour.
The Jim Hopper actor might not have been at Hawke’s wedding, but it was a star-studded affair with his fellow Stranger Things cast members joining in the festivities.
Hawkes’ parents, actors Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, walking along the street, the former in a pale blue dress and the latter in a black suit and shirt, carrying his daughter’s bridal bouquet.
The former couple were married from 1998 until 2005 and also had a son together, actor Levon Roan Thuman-Hawke.
Hawke, 27, and Hutson, 35, have been romantically linked since 2023 and have collaborated musically on several occasions throughout their relationship.
In a 2024 interview on the Zach Sang Show, Hawke spoke about what it was like to date someone with whom she’d previously been friends, saying: ‘I cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends. It’s the best. They know you, and as a human being who has dated other people. They really know you as a person who has feelings … not just a piece of paper for them to project their image of perfect girlfriend onto.’
