On Monday, former <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/actors”><em>Dawson’s Creek </em>stars</a> Katie Holmes and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/joshua-jackson-photoshoot-ruined-his-high-school-life.html/”>Joshua Jackson</a> were spotted in New York City, where they are filming a new project. </p>
<p id=”par-2_56″>Two decades after <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/dawsons-creek-how-old-was-the-cast-season-1.html/”>the teen soap</a> ended its run, Holmes, 46, and Jackson, 47, have teamed up on a new movie trilogy, <em>Happy Hours. </em>Holmes is writing and directing the movies, which is about two people – played by Holmes and Jackson – navigating their relationship amid the challenges of career and family responsibilities, per <a href=”https://deadline.com/2025/07/katie-holmes-to-star-in-direct-happy-hours-joshua-jackson-1236463920/”>Deadline</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-3_28″>”It’s a character-driven dramedy that explores the emotional journey of young loves who reconnect as adults, with the connective thread of shared joys, loss, and hop,” Deadline reports. </p>

<p id=”par-5_39″>Holmes and Jackson played on-again, off-again couple <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/dawsons-creek-joey-pacey-sleep-together.html/”>Joey Potter and Pacey Witter</a> on <em>Dawson’s Creek, </em>which aired from 1998 to 2003. They also dated for about a year early in the show’s run and have remained friends ever since. </p>
<p id=”par-6_22″>“Katie and I are very close,” Jackson said earlier this year during an appearance on Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s <em>Dinner’s On Me </em>podcast. </p>
<p id=”par-7_33″>The <em>Doctor Odyssey </em>star married Jodie Turner-Smith in 2019. They have one child and divorced in 2023. Holmes was famously married to Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012. They share daughter Suri Cruise. </p>
