The ITV programme won the prestigious gong for Daytime Programme at the London event after two years of being snubbed for the title.
Dermot took to the stage alongside co-hosts Alison Hammond, Ben Shephard, and Cat Deeley to celebrate their win alongside a slew of contributors to the show.
Alison began the acceptance speech while Dermot hovered beside her, not managing to share his own words with the audience and viewers at home.
She did pay tribute to the ‘amazing legend that is Dermot O’Leary’ before handing it over to Ben, who then passed the mic to Cat before they wrapped up.
On today’s installment of This Morning, Dermot made his feelings over the snub crystal clear.

‘You made a lovely speech,’ he told Alison. ‘And Ben did – and Cat said some words as well.’
Alison laughed, while Dermot continued: ‘I inhaled to speak, then [Alison started], and I thought “No she’s still talking, she’s still talking” then Ben…’
‘You made a lovely speech. And Ben did. And Cat said some words as well.’
Stepping out of the camera frame, Alison said: ‘But where better to say a few words than right here on This Morning.’
But before Dermot could say a word, the show’s theme song played.

In her speech, Alison said that ‘natural order had been restored’ after the show had failed to win the Daytime gong for two years.
‘Oh my goodness, natural order has been restored. Can we just say a massive thank you to each and every person who voted for This Morning. We are so overwhelmed.’
‘This award means so much. We’ve been humbled for the last two years; we haven’t won this award.
‘We have been humbled, we don’t take it lightly that we won this award, we are so, so grateful.’
She ended her speech by praising those behind the scenes at This Morning, before handing over to Ben and Cat.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
