Carey glared at Cohen before asking him, “Can you?” Cohen insisted he could, but he never actually said anything nice about Minaj. Carey asked to move past the question, opting not to “plead the fifth” in an act of defiance.</p>
<p id=”par-4_55″>Cohen recently responded to that moment, once again bringing it to the forefront of everyone’s mind. Nicki Minaj has opted not to respond, though she’s seemingly taking a break from throwing shade on social media. Her Instagram has been deleted, and she has been keeping things on X (formerly Twitter) pretty tame in recent days.</p>

Carey once pointed out that Minaj had never had a #1 hit at that point. Minaj claimed Carey was old and out of touch. Their time together ended after just one season, but their distaste for each other continues, obviously.</p>
