Doctor Who star Jenna Coleman has proudly shown off her baby bump after confirming the delightful news that she’s set to become a mum.

In July, it was revealed that the 38-year-old actress was expecting as she was papped boasting a protruding belly at a dinner.

Jenna and boyfriend Jamie Childs have kept things pretty low-key since, having only been snapped at Wimbledon since the news became public.

However, taking to social media this afternoon, The Jetty star offered her 1.1million followers a glimpse into the summer she spent growing her first child.

Taking to her feed, Jenna proudly stripped off to unveil her naked bump.

In the selfie, the Blackpool-born star holds her hair up with her bare bump visible in a gold mirror.

Jenna also included several other bump pics, with a second mirror selfie showing her with her hand on her hip, donning a chic blue dress.

Another captured the brunette beauty smiling while leaning against a rock, wearing a gorgeous monochrome frock with her belly sticking out in the clingy material.

Her caption read: ‘Summer spent cookin’ 🐣’.

The former Emmerdale actress was inundated with compliments on the post, which soon garnered almost 100,000 likes.

‘Looking so beautiful 💜’, commented Georgia May Jagger.

‘That’s lovely news to kick off the week. Congrats, Jenna! All the best to you in this new chapter of life’, wrote bryanuf.

Ex-Waterloo Road star Jenna started dating Jamie, the father of her child, after they met on the set for high-profile Netflix series, The Sandman.

Jenna was playing Johanna Constantine in the 2020 drama and Jamie, 35, was directing.

Having struck up a romance, Jenna then starred in Jamie’s debut feature film, Jackdaw, which was released in January 2023.

Both are known to be private when it comes to their love life, but Jamie has mentioned Jenna in interviews before.

‘I was in between two TV jobs at the time, sort of unemployed, and thought I can’t really sit around just watching movies for another month. I thought I should probably sit down and write one,’ he told Screen Rant.

Offering a brief insight into their relationship, he added: ‘Also, my partner basically stopped talking to me on a holiday.

‘She was rehearsing for something she was doing next, and basically, I realised that she just needed to get her head into it.

‘So, I put my headphones on and began writing, and that’s when it all started.’

Meanwhile, speaking previously about starting a family, Jenna told Harper’s Bazaar that she didn’t want to hurry anything.

‘Half of my friends have babies, and half don’t, so it doesn’t feel like a pressure. I want to take my time,’ she said. ‘There’s a whole lot more of the world for me to see first.’

Having previously played Queen Victoria, who had nine children, she added: ‘I’d love to have children one day, but not nine of them. I can tell you that as a fact.’

Prior to dating Jamie, Jenna dated her Victoria co-star Tom Hughes before splitting in 2020.
