Eamonn Holmes has shared a worrying health update, revealing he is ‘wheelchair laden’.
The GB News presenter, 65, has faced mobility issues in recent years, and has been pictured in public using crutches, a walking frame, or in a wheelchair.
Earlier this year, he claimed he was on ‘borrowed time’ and ‘not OK’, before heartbreakingly sharing that he is unable to look after himself anymore.
He has now shared an update, saying he has to ‘rely’ on other people, and is finding it ‘difficult’.
The former This Morning star was talking about Christmas travel issues alongside his GB News co-host Isabel Walker, amid warnings from AA to drivers to expect long traffic jams over the festive period.
At one point, Eamonn addressed people seeking alternative ways to get home for Christmas, when he said: ‘The train definitely could be a dream, but I’m now sort of wheelchair laden, and you rely on a lot of people to get you on and off.
‘It’s very, very difficult doing that, I just threw that in, it’s not a concern to anybody, but there we go.’

Isabel replied: ‘Well, it’s a consideration lots of people in the same position as you, Eamonn.’
It’s been a difficult year for Eamonn, who split from his wife Ruth Langsford in May after 14 years of marriage.
He’s since been open about his new relationship with Katie Alexander, 42, who reportedly ‘wants to love and care for him – especially as he’s in such a bad way with his legs and back, and can’t walk properly without assistance’, it was claimed earlier this year.
The couple were recently pictured together at the Tric awards with Eamonn on crutches, after embarking on a luxury cruise around the Mediterranean, where he was seen in a wheelchair at the airport.

They’ve reportedly moved in together, while reports claimed Ruth removed a £2,000 stairlift from their former home together, allegedly leaving him ‘furious’ as he faced difficulty going upstairs in their Surrey mansion to retrieve his belongings.
Eamonn slipped three discs in his back in 2021, losing ‘full mobility’, and has spoken about his chronic pain and difficulty walking.
He then underwent spinal surgery the following year, which left him off air for almost four months as he recovered, however, he suffered a major setback when he fell down the stairs, later saying he ‘smashed’ his shoulder.
Ruth and Eamonn announced they were parting ways earlier this year, with reports stating work commitments had resulted in them drifting in ‘different directions’, but just days before their split, the Loose Women star, 64, spoke about his health struggles, worrying that he will ‘never be 100% right’.

She said: ‘I don’t know how much Eamonn’s mobility will improve. We live in hope.
‘He does the physio, but there might have to be some acceptance that this might never be 100% right.
‘With any care situation – and there are millions of carers in this country – it isn’t always easy. It’s testing but we manage as a family.’

Speaking on GB News earlier this year, Eamonn said: ‘I have been basically disabled for a year and a half or so, and it’s horrendous.
‘I have to have carers to do the smallest, simplest thing.
‘It’s humiliating, it’s humbling, and thank goodness that the carers are available.’
Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel airs from 6am on GB News.
