Eamonn Holmes was forced to pull out of his GB News programme halfway through Tuesday’s show.

The presenter, 64, claimed last week that he was on ‘borrowed time’ and that he was ‘not OK’, following the news of his split from Loose Women star Ruth Langsford.

Amid his ongoing health struggles, he’s since been pictured using a walking frame and crutches, with Ruth having shared weeks earlier that he ‘might never be 100% right’.

On today’s breakfast show with Isabel Webster, Eamonn was forced to leave early after feeling unwell.

A spokesperson for GB News told MailOnline: ‘Eamonn had to finish a little earlier today as he was feeling unwell. He hopes to be back tomorrow.’

Last week, the veteran television presenter claimed that he was on ‘borrowed time’ and ‘not OK,’ in an appearance at an awards ceremony.

Eamonn revealed how he had been suffering from poor health and almost skipped the awards due to back pain, and said he was only able to attend the ceremony with the use of a high-tech wheelchair and a walker for support.

‘I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all,’ he admitted.

Eamonn’s chronic pain started after he slipped three discs in 2021 and lost ‘full mobility’.

He then underwent spinal surgery the following year, which left him off air for almost four months as he recovered.

Metro.co.uk has approached GB News and Eamonn’s reps for comment.
