Eric Dane Seen for First Time Since ALS Reveal

Just a few days after sharing some life-changing news, actor Eric Dane was spotted out and about, proving that he wasn’t going to let this get him down.

TMZ shared a photo of the”Euphoria” and “Grey’s Anatomy” star visiting a friend in Los Angeles on Sunday. He was dressed in a white t-shirt, an off-white sweater, and khakis.

This comes after he revealed to People on April 10 that he has been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

“I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter. I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to [the] set of ‘Euphoria’ next week. I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time,” he told the outlet.

Rebecca Gayheart Talked About Her Marriage Prior To Eric Dane’s ALS Diagnosis Announcement

Dane’s announcement came on April 10, but just a day before, his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, spoke with E! News about their marriage.

Her sentiments followed her decision to dismiss her divorce from Dane in February.

“We are best of friends. We are really close. We are great coparents,” Gayheart said. “We really figured out the formula to staying a family and I think our kids are benefiting greatly from it and we are as well.”

“I think it’s important to not look at a relationship that ends as a failure. It’s just a season. It wasn’t a failure. It was a huge success,” she continued. “We were married for, I mean, we are still married, but together for 15 years and we had two beautiful kids so I think that’s a successful relationship, and that’s how we look at it.”

‘Euphoria’ Star Colman Domingo Reacts to Eric Dane’s Diagnosis

On April 11, Colman Domingo spoke with People, reacting to Dane’s diagnosis.

“I haven’t been able to speak with him yet,” Domingo said. “I just got the news yesterday too, and I’m wishing him well. I look forward to working with him.”

Dane made it clear when he announced the news to People that he will be continuing to act.

“I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to the set of Euphoria next week,” Dane told the outlet. “I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.”
