Expert Reveals How Prince William Wants to ‘Honor’ Princess Diana When He’s King

Prince William knew his destiny from an early age but it took years to gain the confidence he would one day need to be a king.

As an expert pointed out, the Prince of Wales went from being “nervous” and “introverted” in public to “flourishing” and being “comfortable” in asserting his dominance. And that confidence will be key in the future when he is the monarch and how he will “honor” his late mother, Princess Diana.

Speaking on behalf of <a href=”https://bingo.betfair.com/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Betfair Bingo, the expert said: “When William first started being out in public as a working royal and exposed to public life, he was shy and kept to himself as much as possible. William was very nervous and introverted. He didn’t come across as very confident, he used to put his hands in his pockets and would blush a lot of the time when he felt out of place – which he inherited from Charles.

“Not too long after he was newly married to the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton), we saw a real change in William’s confidence and the sense of belief he had in himself. Whenever he was carrying out engagements around that time of his life, he found a new pace with his confidence. We would see him go from strength to strength. He finally felt comfortable taking control of situations and asserting himself when necessary. Now William has more experience in putting himself out there by representing the royal family, it feels more natural for him.”

Stanton continued: “William rarely stumbles over his words, plays with his clothes, or flushes red in the face. These are all ways of reassuring himself when uncomfortable – but we have rarely seen this occur from William. When he makes a speech, he will display strong, engaged eye contact and place his hands firmly on the podium, suggesting he couldn’t feel more in control and comfortable taking the lead. Now that he has found his feet, William enjoys public speaking. When we see him up there, there is genuine joy and feelings of pride from William.

“He’s found his passion and wants to support people through his humanitarian work, like his mother did. William will want to honor Diana in his own royal role by ensuring he is following suit as a confident, self-assured, and humble individual.”

The Prince of Wales will follow in Queen Elizabeth’s footsteps as the monarch

Stanton also opined that the prince will be similar to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in the way he carries out his duties saying: “The reason why William’s confidence in public speaking has developed is because he is determined to take on and embrace more within his royal duties — and the nation would be behind him every step of the way. Following in the footsteps of the late queen, we have seen William step up to the plate to show the royal family is in safe hands — emulating her calm and collected composure when in public.

“He comes across as very confident, demonstrating an openness with his body language — gestures like standing taller, pushing his shoulders back, and holding his arms confidently by his side instead of crossing them over his body — and as a result, people have put a lot of their trust in William now.”
