<p id=”par-1_68″>Unless you live under a rock, you’re likely to have seen or heard about the throwback video <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/meghan-markle/?swcfpc=1″>Meghan Markle</a> posted on her Instagram account, in which she’s seen twerking before giving birth to Princess Lilibet. Well, members of the royal family have too. However, no one from the Palace is going to comment on what the royals thought of it or even acknowledge if they saw it. </p>
<p id=”par-2_50″>So while there’s no proof that <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/king-charles/?swcfpc=1″>King Charles</a> actually watched his daughter-in-law’s twerking video because of the headlines it garnered, it’s pretty much a guarantee he at least knows it exists. And if he did watch it, one expert is almost certain he was “horrified” by what he saw. </p>

<p id=”par-4_28″>Royal expert Jennie Bond spoke to <a href=”https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/royals/meghan-markle-wouldve-horrified-king-35344722″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Mi</a>rror about Meghan’s “astonishing video” and says there’s no doubt the king would be appalled and “horrified” if he watched it. </p>
<p id=”par-5_56″>“The hours before you give birth are some of the most personal, intimate, and private in the lives of any couple,” Bond said. “And women are perfectly entitled to do whatever they feel like to get through the waiting, and the pain. Giving birth is a serious business, and anything to lighten the mood is welcome.</p>
<p id=”par-6_51″>“However, to share those scenes with the world is utterly bizarre and, in my view, takes away all the magic of the moment. I cannot imagine why she chose to release it. Maybe show it one day to your nearest and dearest– but to anyone and everyone who wants to click on it?”</p>
<p id=”par-7_34″>Bind added: “If the king has watched it, which I doubt, though he can’t have missed the headlines, I’m sure he would be horrified. Royalty has to carry with it some measure of dignity.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_20″>As for why Meghan posted the video to begin with, a couple of commentators shared their theories on that. </p>
<p id=”par-9_37″>“Now she’s releasing viral videos of her twerking to promote she’s got new jam and wine coming out,” Ben Leo opined on GB News (per <a href=”https://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/2066261/i-knew-prince-harry-met” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Express</a>). “It’s a bit of a fall from grace, isn’t it?” </p>
<p id=”par-10_68″>Royal expert Charlotte Griffiths, who knows the Duke of Sussex, responded: “I think it totally is but the thing is about being in the royal family is it isn’t a big money spinner. [Meghan’s] always been very focused on becoming a millionaire or billionaire, and to have private jets. You can’t spend big money when you’re in the royal family … you can’t have this luxurious lifestyle. </p>
<p id=”par-11_39″>“I think she thought that what was she was marrying into. Bizarrely, this Hollywood set are more royal than the royals, in that they tend to splash the cash, and that’s what she wants to do, she wants to make money.”</p>
<p id=”par-12_102″>Leeo then asked Griffiths: “What does Harry make of all of this? Is he happy?” to which she replied, “He has never ever wanted to be famous so I can’t believe what a 180 he has done and to be part of these viral videos is just so unlike the Harry I used to know back in the day. He hated this kind of stuff, but I think he just wants to be happy and to keep his family together so he will do whatever he is told … He is reduced to a cameo role in that video, I must say.”</p>
