Sharon Osbourne is devastated by the loss of her husband Ozzy Osbourne, but her family is helping her through the tough time.

“Sharon’s heartbroken but very proud of the life the family built together,” a source close to the Osbournes shared with People. “Everyone’s rallying around her. She’s been the rock of this family for decades, and now it’s her turn to be held up.”

Sharon Osbourne’s Children Are There for Her

Sharon and Ozzy were married for 43 years, having tied the knot in 1982. Together, the couple welcomed three children, Aimee, 41, Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39. The children are doing their best to support Sharon and each other, according to the source.

“… the kids are making sure she’s never alone — they’ve been with her constantly, sharing stories, laughing through the tears and just being together,” the source shared. Fans of the family’s reality show “The Osbournes” know how close-knit the clan is, which is helpful during this tragic time.

“There’s a lot of pain, but also a lot of comfort from the family time that they got to enjoy up until the very end,” the source explained.

Ozzy’s children are understandably heartbroken over losing their dad as well. His daughter Kelly shared a moving Instagram story days after his death, and on July 28 she reposted a fan’s clip of her sitting on her dad’s lap and joking around back in their reality TV days.

Sharon & Ozzy Had Moved Back to England Before His Passing

Prior to Ozzy’s death, he and Sharon moved back to their native England for what was meant to be their “final chapter” together. In recent years the couple lived in Buckinghamshire, a place that felt like home to them.

“Sharon had wanted to move back to England for years, especially as she got older,” the source told People. “The path back to England wasn’t easy. [Ozzy’s] health has been fragile for years. … It was a gift, because they got a year and half together, at home.”

“It was about creating peace and the best life possible together in their final chapter,” the source added. Ozzy did get to spend his final days at home surrounded by his beloved family.

But his death still came as a shock. Earlier this month, the iconic rock star was performing for sold out crowds for his band Black Sabbath’s final tour. Ozzy’s daughter Kelly took to Instagram on July 6 to thank everyone for coming out and making it such a special time. “My dad got his moment in the sun! He was able to say thank you and good bye in the most beautiful way!” she captioned a carousel of photos.
