Jeremy Allen White Reflects on His Time as a Student
“I had a hard time paying attention,” White said. “We would have lunch, and we could leave the school at lunch and go eat wherever we’d like. But oftentimes, I would just leave at lunch, and I would never come back.”
“I would go up to Central Park, I would go hang out with friends, I’d go back to Brooklyn,” White said. “If my parents weren’t home, I’d go back to the house. If my parents were home, I’d have to busy myself with something.”
“I wasn’t a good student because I didn’t go to school enough and so I didn’t get all my credits,” he continued. “I never graduated from high school, I never got my diploma.”
White said he was working while in high school, appearing in films and commercials. White added that he appeared on “Law & Order” while in school.
Per his IMDb page, he made several acting appearances before the age of 18. He made his acting debut in a 2006 episode of “Conviction” and went on to star in some short films, such as “Aquarium” in 2007 and “The Fourth” in 2008.
He appeared on “Law & Order” in 2007 and 2008 and again on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” in 2010.
