Netflix viewers have praised this new movie as it’s revealed that it has been given a smashing score from fans.
After Netflix’s Hot Frosty received a better score than Gladiator and Missing received a 90% ranking from critics, Netflix’s film selection is on a roll at the moment!
Fans have also uncovered a gem on the platform that was released earlier this year. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Jay Will star in Netflix’s latest film Rob Peace, based on the true 2014 novel The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace.
Directed by the Academy Award actor, Ejiofer, the story follows a young man (played by Will) who is torn between his father’s dark past and his own promising future.
The story focuses on his journey to help free his imprisoned father who he believes to be wrongly convicted of murder, risking his potential in the process.
The film has a star-studded line-up featuring Mary J. Blige, Camila Cabello, Mare Winningham and House of Cards’ Michael Kelly.
The film has delighted viewers as it earned a 94% rating from fans on Rotten Tomatoes with reviews on social media claiming the film might be the best thing on Netflix this year.

Taking to social media fans praised the film and agreed that it was ‘captivating’ and one of the best watches of the year.

The story is based on a true story and was written by Rob’s friend and fellow Yale student, Jeff Hobbs.
The two-hour film premiered in January 2024 at the Sundance Film Festival and was also given a limited theatrical release in the United States.
The film was released in cinemas on August 16, 2024, by Republic Pictures, making$422,329 at the box office.
