The finale for Season 3 of “Farmer Wants a Wife” will air on FOX on May 22 at 8 p.m. ET. The episode can be streamed on Hulu the day after. Ahead of the results, we are looking at the farmers searching for love and the contestants who have won their hearts after an initial group of 32 women competed for their affection.
Season 3 brought us Colton Hendricks, Matt Warren, John Sansone, and Jay Woods, who are on their quest to find love. Each farmer has dated eight women during the season, who have been willing to undertake various tasks to prove that they can relocate from the city and embrace farm life. But who will the men choose, if anyone?
Colton Hendricks
Hendricks is a 28-year-old cattle rancher and horse trainer from Mena, Arkansas. He is divorced and a single dad to a toddler named Souther. âColton knows exactly what he wants and has been having a tough time meeting someone ready to be a mom,â People reports.
Hendricks is looking for love, but some feel he is not ready for marriage, most notably Keelyâs mom, who expressed her concern. He can find happiness with two contestants: Keely and Zoe. Will Keely take her momâs concerns to heart? Earlier in the show, she also doubted Hendricksâ feelings for her, admitting in a confessional that she didnât think she was the one girl who held his attention. Despite this, thereâs a good chance she is the contestant he picks.
Prediction for who will win: Keely.
Matt Warren
Matt Warren is a 30-year-old fruit farmer from San Luis Obispo, California, now located in Morro Bay. Unlike the other three farmers, Warren is a first-generation farmer who works with his brother and sister-in-law to make his farming dreams come true. He is already an uncle and prioritises family. As People reports, âMatt is looking for someone active and family-oriented who can keep up with the fun of the fruit farming lifestyle.”
Mattâs remaining two contestants are Jordyn and Chelsi. Of course, itâs impossible to predict how the results will play out, but because Chelsi was Mattâs first kiss, thereâs a good chance he will pick her.
Prediction for who will win: Chelsi.
John Sansone
John Sansone is a 25-year-old soy, corn, and wheat farmer from St. Louis, Missouri. He farms the land that has been in his family for generations, and he learned everything he knows about farming from his grandfather. People report that âJohn is eager to find his life partner so he can continue the farming legacy.â
Johnâs final two are Claire and Lily. Lily may be a better fit for John, who wants a traditional family. Claireâs mom has expressed that she doesnât think her daughter wants this. âI’d like to work, and I’d like for my wife to be home with the children,â he told Claire and her mom, People reports.
Claireâs mom raised doubts, saying, âI am surprised just because I can’t imagine her not working. Claire never said, âWhen I grow up, I want to be a stay-at-home mom.â That’s never been anything that sheâs said.â
Prediction for who will win: Lily.
Jay Woods
Jay Woods is a 25-year-old hay and cattle farmer from Florence, Alabama. Woods does not seem like the stereotypical cowboy, but People reports he âgrew up in the country of Alabama on his grandfatherâs horse farm surrounded by family.â He is looking for âa kind-hearted, refined, confident woman who isnât afraid to get her hands dirty on the farm!â
Jayâs hopes of finding love on the show are left up to Grace and Karina. Predicting who he will pick is perhaps the most challenging of all, and it could really be either girl at this point, but Karina seems most in line with what he is looking for.
