Fifth Harmony have returned to the stage for the first time in seven years thanks to the Jonas Brothers – but Camilla Cabello was nowhere to be seen.
The four Worth It hitmakers – Normani, 29, Ally Brooke,32, Dinah Jane, 28, and Lauren Jauregui, 29 – made a very surprise appearance at the Jonas Brothers’ concert in Dallas last night, marking the first time they have performed together in seven years.
Strutting onto the stage through smoke wearing matching black outfits, the women performed Worth It – complete with some serious choreography – before transitioning into Work From Home.
It was a monumental moment for fans who were left gutted in 2018 when the band announced an ‘indefinite hiatus’.
‘Where were you on August 31, 2025?’ Fifth Harmony’s official Instagram page wrote, alongside a clip from the evening, as they thanked the Jonas Brothers and said it ‘felt amazing to be back’.
The four-piece were hugged by Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas, before they exited the stage – this time having debuted a new logo.

Fifth Harmony were formed in 2012 on the American X Factor when they individually failed to progress in their respective categories. They went on to wow the judges, including Simon Cowell, and finished third in the competition.
Thirteen years on, and things are definitely looking up for Fifth Harmony fans – known as Harmonisers – as the group appears to be rumbling to life once more.
It wasn’t a huge surprise Camilla, 28, hasn’t re-joined the ranks, as she left the band two years before their split in 2016 to embark on her solo career, which brought the world Havana via her 2018 debut solo album.
Despite this, fans were buzzing at their reunion.
‘August 31 2025 the night fifth harmony broke the internet and made everyone forget what year it was,’ said Mohit on X.
‘WE WANT AN ALBUM, A SINGLE, ANYTHING. COME TO COPACABANA IN 2026. BRAZIL IS WAITING FOR YOU,’ Thomaz raved.
‘This was not in my 2025 bingo card WHAT IS GOING ON,’ demanded fan Courtney.
Why did Fifth Harmony split?
Announcing their hiatus in 2018, the band said: ‘Reflecting on the past six years since we started on X Factor, we’ve realised just how far we’ve come and we appreciate everything so much, more now than ever.
‘We’ve had one hell of a memorable journey together and can’t begin to express our gratitude to y’all for coming along with us on this wild journey.
‘After six years going hard, non stop, we realise that in order to stay authentic to ourselves and you, we need to take some time for now to go on a hiatus from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue sole endeavours.’

In 2018 a source told Metro the group split because they found out Camilla’s solo career was getting ‘more financial backing’ than their group by label Epic.
‘Camila’s debut album received more financial backing and promotion than any of the group’s albums and it became clear that they could no longer stay on the same label, especially once they learned Camila was getting first dibs on all the potential hits that were being sent into the label,’ the source said.
Why did Camilla Cabello leave Fifth Harmony?
Camilla’s exit from Fifth Harmony wasn’t exactly smooth. Cracks in the quintet began to show when Camilla released a successful collab with Shaun Mendes, I Know What You Did Last Summer, in 2016, and just a few weeks later the band shared an Instagram from the recording studio without her.
Then came the viral interview moment with Normani, who struggled when tasked with saying something nice about Camilla.
‘She is … let’s see. Camila. Very quirky. Yeah… Very quirky. Cute,’ she said simply after giving lengthy comments about the other women.

In September that year Camilla walked off stage mid-song during a Fifth Harmony concert in Missouri and explained how she was suffering from anxiety. Days later Lauren knelt to the floor on stage and Normani attended to her as confused fans cheered them on.
Later that month, the tensions bubbled over and Fifth Harmony cancelled the last four concerts on their 7/27 album tour without explanation. Another five were then cancelled.
At exactly midnight on December 19 2016 (the day that Camila’s contract was complete, according to Billboard), Fifth Harmony published a statement on Twitter confirming that Camila Cabello had left the band.
While it seemed straight forward at first glance, Camila later released her own version of events on social media, claiming she was blindsided by Fifth Harmony’s announcement. She also claimed their version of events didn’t match up with her own.
Camila claimed: ‘The girls were aware of my feelings through the long, much needed conversations about the future that we had… Saying that they were just informed through my representatives that I was “leaving the group” is just not true.’
In a second statement, Fifth Harmony clapped back: ‘Over the past several months we have consistently made every effort to sit down and discuss the future of Fifth Harmony with Camila.
‘So no, after months of rejection from her and her team, these supposed lengthy conversations in fact never happened, although we pleaded.
‘We have tried with exhausted efforts and hearts to keep this group alive as the five of us, and we want it to be very clear that unfortunately those efforts are not mutual.’
