Pamela Anderson rocked a very different look from the one we know her for as she arrived in quirky attire for this year’s Met Gala.
The Baywatch bombshell, 57, rose to fame in the 1990s as a Playboy pin-up.
She featured on the magazine’s front cover on several occasions. So frequently, in fact, that she held the record for the most Playboy covers by any individual.
Of course, the blonde beauty then solidified her international sex symbol status by playing C.J. Parker in the Baywatch series, her red swimsuit arguably one of the most iconic items of clothing in TV history.
These days, however, the Canadian actress prefers a much more low-key vibe, frequently going makeup-free to glitzy events and opting for more demure attire.
The 2025 Met was no exception, with the theme this year being Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.
Posing for photos on the blue carpet, Pammy debuted a new, shorter hairdo that sits at chin length.
Outfit-wise, the Last Showgirl star went for a grey Tory Burch gown.
Embellished with jewels, the dress had long sleeves, a peplum skirt, and a high neckline, leaving very little skin on show.
Pamela completed her ensemble with fresh makeup, forgoing mascara but adding a pink tint to her lips and enhancing her glowing complexion.
While being interviewed at the Gala, Pamela revealed she was only in the glam chair for ‘only took a few minutes’, describing her look as ‘very simple’.
This is, of course, in stark contrast to the makeup looks she sported during her heyday, often rocking ultra voluminous hair and sultry black eyeliner.
Taking to X upon her arrival, fans were taken aback by her transformation, with @OfficielK6 declaring: ‘Dammmn i cant recognize her’.
@fizzaxn wrote: ‘absolutely breathtaking i love how she embraces the minimal to no makeup look and ages like FIIINE wine’.
Pamela, who accessorised her toned-down look with Pandora jewellery, was joined by her son for the glam occasion.
Brandon Thomas Lee, 28, looked super smart in a black tux, posing proudly alongside her.
Pamela shares the producer and actor with ex-boyfriend, rocker Tommy Lee, 62. They also have 27-year-old Dylan Jagger Lee, who is a model.
‘Awwwww I love how Brandon comes with her to many of her events. He’s the best date she’s ever had’, tweeted @cquiller1.
Instantly noticing how Pamela’s eldest is growing into his dad’s features,@blissfulguilt wrote: ‘wow but he looks just like tommy’.
Speaking late last year about her image overhaul, Pamela told HELLO! Magazine: ‘You know, I’m 57 years old. A lot of my career was about physicality, and it’s been a journey.
‘But it’s also been part of the reason why I’ve kind of done this experiment with myself, just to peel it all back, remember who I am, and not be defined by what people do to me, but defined by what I do, and just to have passion for the work and not become bitter or jaded, still finding joy in the process, in life, and in this business.’
She added that being a woman in her fifth decade of life feels ‘inspirational’.
‘I’ve got off all the roller coasters of emotions over the last few decades. I barely even remember them, but here I am, and with all this experience.’
