Comedian Frank Skinner left Sunday Brunch in chaos this morning as he treated the horrified hosts and fellow guests to a ‘disgusting’ dish of his own creation.
Frank, 67, appeared on a line-up that also included former EastEnders actress Kellie Shirley, Douglas is Cancelled creator Steven Moffat, ghost hunter Yvette Fielding and singer Alexandra Burke.
Hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer were shocked and appalled as Frank introduced his own prized concoction.
The Birmingham comedian introduced his creation from beneath a silver cloche – prompting the hosts and production crew to prolong the excitement with a drumroll.
The cloche was lifted to reveal a dish of bananas with a side of mustard powder. Frank then encouraged the hosts and his fellow guests to dig in, using the condiment as a dip.
And, as Tim, Simon and the panel chowed down, they were left horrified by what Frank had brought to the table.

Describing the controversial recipe, Frank said: ‘I was on a show where we had powdered mustard and just for the hell of it, I dipped a banana in to see what it would be like – and it actually tasted great.
‘Sort of a sweet and sour thing going on,’ he clarified.
Tim and Simon then tried out the recipe – which they likened to a sherbet dip. Tim’s distaste was immediately evident: ‘No,’ he said, before walking the dish over to Frank, who demonstrated how to best eat the delicacy.

Former Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat – who worked with Frank on the 2014 episode Mummy on the Orient Express – then had a go. ‘Yeah, that really doesn’t work for it. That’s rubbish,’ he said, diplomatically.
The rest of the panel was left equally revolted, describing it as ‘weird’ and ‘disgusting.’
The comedian was on the popular Channel 4 programme to promote his latest tour, titled 30 Years of Dirt.

He also spoke of how he had been sacked from his show on Absolute Radio after 15 years – revealing how the station offered him the opportunity to pretend he’d stepped down of his own volition.
Instead, Frank chose to reveal the truth – that he had been sacked because, he claims, the station had grown tired of him.
He told Tim and Simon that, while he was ‘gutted,’ he was now ‘over it.’

During his appearance, Frank wore what looked like a heavy metal band t-shirt below his blazer – no doubt inspired by a love of the genre he shares with son Buzz Cody, 11.
Appearing on the Jonathan Ross Show last month, Frank revealed his passion for heavy metal.
‘Slash did a solo which lasted about 15 minutes and during the solo all my problems, all the problems of my life – the things people said to me at school, getting sacked by my radio show – just washed, it was like a fabulous meditative experience. It was so brilliant,’ he said.

Last month, the star spoke out on his opinion of ‘wokeness’ – revealing just why he thought that the movement is welcome.
Appearing on The Jonathan Ross show, the devoutly Catholic comedian was asked what the Church makes of his jokes.
Frank replied: ‘I don’t think there’s anything wrong with dirty jokes. It’s about targets and stuff like that. I’m personally very happy about the woke movement because I don’t have the desire to go up and be cruel or unkind to anybody.’
Inflicting mustard-dipped bananas on his peers, however, is another story.
