For every âFriendsâ Fan, Jane Sibbett is an icon. She made TV history as Carol Willick, Rossâ first wife on Friends, in the first lesbian wedding shown on network television. She also left a mark as the unforgettable villain Clarice Kensington in âIt Takes Twoâ.
What is Jane up to now? Almost 30 years later, Sibbett looks back on her acting career and opens up about discovering a new path as an energy healer.
Jane Sibbett Reflects on Her Journey from Acting to Energy Healing
In a conversation with People, Jane said, âItâs fascinating because Iâm working on the memoir of this whole situation, and one of my mentors had said, âGo back before the gift.â The gift has been here 10 years now,â.
She explained how transitioning from acting to healing and spirituality was a natural fit for her. âWhen I work with the dancing hands, it’s not me. It’s source energy coming through me, and so I just feel nothing but bliss and joy and love when I am in this state.”
Since leaving Hollywood, Sibbettâs spiritual path has grown into something unexpected. While living in Topanga, California, she and her then-husband Karl Fink felt a strong calling. During that time, she hosted goddess circles for women, with groups ranging from 15 to 100 people. âThey would come to my home and eventually my ranch, where we did a lot of the work. There was a lot of spiritual activity,â she recalls.
Embracing a New Life in Hawaii and Discovering Her True Calling as an Energy Healer
Despite her work in California, Sibbett felt drawn to Hawaii. In 2015, she and Karl relocated to the island and founded Wild Aloha Studios, a production company. They collaborated and became keynote speakers at the Big Island Film Festival.

âMy husband and I split [when] we were in Hawaii, and I was on my knees because I was really brokenhearted by everything, and part of that was my stuff that I had to deal with,â she shares.
For Jane, this heartbreak opened a door to a new path â energy healing.
Documentaries were produced by Jane Sibbett and a healer named Abdy Electriciteh, who does not call himself a healer. Her work became part of his organization due to her collaborative nature. She was then asked to move from making documentaries to producing live events, blending her belief in his gift with her own transition from Friends.
Discovering the Power of Her “Dancing Hands”
Jane Sibbettâs healing gift emerged naturally, without any formal training. After a powerful experience at an energy healing event, her hands began moving on their own, revealing a unique ability. Though acting was her first passion, she gradually embraced this new path, guided by encouragement and a deep connection to the energy flowing through her.
Her acting experience helped her embrace this new path. Actors learn to become their characters fully, let go of control, and trust the flow of energy, called the âmuse.â This taught her how to relax and fully engage in the healing process.
Today, when not working on her memoir, Sibbett leads one-on-one sessions, online group circles, and travel retreats. She also contributes to “Noon Miracles,” an online community where artists, healers, and storytellers connect and share their work.
