Alexis Bledel & Lauren Graham Set for Emmy Reunion

As per a report in The Hollywood Reporter published on September 9, Emmy organizers announced that Bledel and Graham will reunite as presenters at the 2025 ceremony. The event, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze, will take place September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

They’ll join a star-studded roster that includes Kristen Bell, Sofía Vergara, Walton Goggins, and Colman Domingo. For Gilmore Girls fans, the reunion is special, as the pair last appeared together on a red carpet in 2016 for Netflix’s revival.

A Friendship That Stands the Test of Time

Despite a few public appearances together, Graham has spoken openly about her natural chemistry with Bledel. “I met Alexis in the lobby of the hotel and we just always really got along,” Graham said in April on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. “We did just feel immediate chemistry.”

The 58-year-old reflected on their differences, adding, “We are very different energies. She is a shyer, quieter person, which has been perfect. If you had two loud mes, you’d not have a good balance.”

Over the course of their 25-year friendship, Graham and Bledel have remained close. “Just like the show, our dynamic has always been more like friends than mother and daughter,” Graham told People in 2016.

She praised Bledel for her private nature and her ability to balance life as a mom. “I have so much respect for her as an actor and a person and a mom. I was just proud of how she has handled her personal life,” Graham said.

With the Emmys just days away, fans are eager to see Lorelai and Rory side by side again, this time, not in Stars Hollow, but on one of television’s biggest stages.

Why ‘Gilmore Girls’ Still Captures Hearts 25 Years Later

Even nearly two decades after its finale, “Gilmore Girls” continues to capture the hearts of fans old and new.

Set in the idyllic, fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut, the story follows single mom Lorelai as she runs the Dragonfly Inn while raising her whip-smart daughter Rory, who dreams of attending an Ivy League university.

With all seven seasons now streaming on Hallmark Channel, “Gilmore Girls” is reaching an entirely new generation of viewers while giving longtime fans a cozy way to revisit Stars Hollow. To mark the show’s 25th anniversary, Hallmark has released a heartfelt line of merchandise, including colorful appetizer plates and a tea towel that reads, “My Heart Is Home in Stars Hollow.”

It’s proof that Lorelai and Rory’s world isn’t just nostalgic TV, it’s a lasting part of pop culture that continues to feel like home.
