Glastonbury 2025 live: Pyramid Stage hit with technical issues ahead of Rod Stewart’s Legend’s Slot

Glastonbury 2025’s final day has gotten off to a rocky start for The Libertines after a technical issue.

The indie icons took to the Pyramid Stage today ahead of Olivia Rodrigo’s headline set tonight, and Rod Stewart’s Legend’s Slot performance.

But those not right at the barrier or in the pit may have had trouble seeing the action onstage after screens at the festival’s largest stage stopped working.

They did eventually come back to life, allowing fans of the Don’t Look Back Into the Sun hitmakers to enjoy the group’s set, their first since 2022.

The group – made up of Pete Doherty, Carl Barât, John Hassall, and Gary Powell – last played the iconic festival to celebrate 20 years since the release of their legendary album Up The Bracket.

He has confirmed he will be bringing three guests onstage for his set, which follows performances from The Selecter and Celeste.

The Sailing hitmaker will then be followed by Nile Rodgers and Chic and Noah Kahan before Good 4 U singer Rodrigo closes the final day of the festival.
