Gordon Ramsay reportedly made the entire audience cry during his father-of-the-bride speech during his daughter’s wedding.

Adam Peaty, 30, married Holly Ramsay, 25 – the daughter of Gordon Ramsay this weekend in a ceremony at Bath Abbey, but the lead-up to their big day was anything but blissful.

Instead, it was marred by drama, with Adam’s mother reportedly banned from attending the ceremony, while Holly’s childhood pal Brooklyn Beckham also gave it a swerve.

It was reported that Gordon made reference to Adam’s absent parents in a speech on the day, and in a new interview with his daughter Tilly on This Morning, he opened up about the emotional speech.

‘I mean, being a dad with three daughters, you dream of that moment. That moment arrives and, yeah, you’re just like a hot mess. But the speech was perfect. It went well, and it was just… you’ve got to be warm, emotional, yeah, it’s just a tough gig,’ he said.

Tilly added: ‘ I was sat in his room for an hour as he was just reading through it. It was just like going through everything, but no tweaks were needed. It was perfect. It made everybody cry.’

The Sun reported last week that Gordon said in his speech that his wife, Tana, ‘will be a good mum to them both’.

The 59-year-old TV chef then added that Holly looked beautiful and Adam was a ‘lucky man’, referencing his wife again as he said: ‘Look at Tana, and that’s what you have to look forward to.’

He then made a dig at Adam’s parents as he told Holly: ‘Shame you don’t have the same.’

A family source told the Daily Mail that Caroline was shocked to learn their feud had been brought up in a speech.

‘Caroline can’t believe Gordon brought their family troubles up his speech. It is outrageous and very hurtful. By him saying Tana will be a good mum to them both makes Caroline sound like a bad mum. It was a cruel dig at her.

‘She has always done her best for all her children. She is a very good mum.’
