Hailee Steinfeld gave a rare glimpse into her wedding day!
Steinfeld married Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen on May 31 in a gorgeous outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara, California.
The “Sinners” actress dished about the experience in her Beau Society newsletter on Friday, June 13.
“Iâm sitting here with Josh, and weâre reminiscing on the best weekend of our lives for the millionth time,” Steinfeld wrote, according to E! News.
While the couple is extremely private, Steinfeld felt her newsletter was the best place to share some of the memories.
“Iâm always somewhere in between wanting to share every detail and wanting to keep them close to my heart. But Beau Society felt like the right place to share some of the love and magic that made up our wedding weekend,” she added.
As for the wedding, Steinfeld recalled the feeling of the day.
“It felt like love was running through the veins of every tree at our gorgeous venue in Santa Barbara,” she wrote. “Our family and friends coming together amplified it.”
She added the two walked down the aisle to âSigned, Sealed, Delivered (Iâm Yours)â as it thundered outside.
“No rain, just thunder and lightning. Magical,” the “True Grit” actress wrote.
Steinfeld Had No Phones at the Wedding
The 28-year-old said no phones were allowed when she tied the knot.
“We had a no-phone wedding â we wanted everyone to come and be present. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we made. But that meant [photographer] Jose [Villa] had his work cut out for him, capturing all the magic for us,” she wrote, per TODAY.
She shared a series of beautiful images from the big day, which Entertainment Tonight posted on Instagram.
She added that she disconnected from her phone prior the wedding.
“I metaphorically threw my phone in the ocean before our wedding weekend, and it was the best thing ever. “11/10 recommend being unplugged and present,” she added.
Allen Said Getting Married Was the Best Decision of His Life
Prior to Steinfeld’s newsletter, Allen briefly commented on getting married while speaking with reporters.
Allen has already had quite a year as he received the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player award and $330 million contract extension, but he said getting married topped the list.
âTheyâve all been big,â he said. âNone other than marrying my best friend. She makes everything easier.â
He stated marrying Steinfeld “was the most important decision” in his life and he “made the right one.”
