Harry Styles is reportedly facing neighbour complaints in north London amid an extensive renovation to create a mega-mansion.
While the 31-year-old pop superstar enjoys a summer away from home with Zoë Kravitz on his arm, back in Hampstead, it’s less smiles and sunshine.
His grand designs to merge two lavish homes in the affluent area into one enormous property, as seen in planning documents, is causing a stir with locals.
The One Direction icon no doubt envisions a serene retreat filled with high-end touches, but his neighbours are said to be less than impressed.
Locals told The Telegraph that ‘This road didn’t used to be like this. All the houses are now constantly being bought by millionaires and redone.’
Concerned that their legal ‘rights to light’ could be infringed, another local added, ‘it is sad living next to a building site all the time.’

Under English law, homeowners are entitled to receive natural daylight through certain windows, a rule that has sparked countless disputes in London’s most desirable postcodes.
‘There’s also unfortunately less community among the neighbours than there was since people have moved on from the area,’ added another local.
Despite the reaction from residents, Metro understands that no official complaints have been made to the council about the new renovations.
This means Harry’s plans are likely to go ahead, assuming all his permissions are granted by the council.
Inside, the home will reportedly feature a lavish master suite with not one but four dressing rooms, along with a gallery, drawing room, and a cosy TV lounge.
The basement is set to house a cinema, pool, sauna and gym, while the landscaped garden will include a water feature — more Hollywood Hills than north London suburb.

Harry bought his first Hampstead home in 2019 for £8,800,000, later snapping up the adjoining property for just over £4,100,000.
Last year, he added a third home to his portfolio, giving him quite the footprint in an area already popular with celebrities.
Although the star was granted planning permission earlier this year, it came with an unusual condition: to create a haven for local wildlife.
To keep bats and hedgehogs happy, the As It Was hitmaker will have to install a series of boxes around the site.
The residents’ discontent highlights a growing tension in areas like Hampstead, where rising property prices and celebrity buyers have transformed once-traditional neighbourhoods.

For long-term residents, the endless cycle of renovations and construction work is proving frustrating.
Harry, who was recently spotted looking cosy with Hollywood star Zoë Kravitz, is no stranger to property headlines.
His London projects have often made waves, though this is by far his most ambitious.
The scale of the development means it is unlikely to be finished any time soon, with completion currently pencilled in for October 2027.
Whether any formal complaints are put forward remains to be seen. For now, the pop star’s mega-mansion dream is moving ahead — hedgehog havens and all.
Metro contacted Harry Styles’ representative for comment.
