Henry Cavill has given a sneak peek into his private life with his partner Natalie Viscuso, as the pair are set to welcome their first child.

In April, Henry revealed that his girlfriend was pregnant and they would soon be welcoming their first child together.

The 40-year-old has now given an insight into his life on Father’s Day as he joked about some of his sweet plans for his baby and asked for parenting tips.

The actor shared a photo of himself in a nursery with a wooden cot and changing table in the background.

The caption of the post read: ‘Oh yeah…..and Happy Father’s Day ye dads out there. Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon! Any tips??

‘And don’t worry, pillows won’t be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scapels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures. #FathersDay

The Justice League star, revealed at the premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare that he and his partner were ‘excited’ to be parents.

‘I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited about it. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that,’ Cavill told an Access Hollywood reporter.

The soon-to-be parents first made their relationship official in 2021 with a post on Instagram.

The Superman star shared an image of himself playing chess with his girlfriend. ‘This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love, Natalie, destroys me at chess.’

In the same year, the actor shared another post asking fans to allow him to keep his relationship with Natalie private.

‘I know it can be fun to speculate, to gossip, and to dive into our own personal echo chambers on the internet, but your “passion” is misplaced, and it causes harm to the people I care about most.’

He then added: ‘I am very happy in love, and in life. I’d be enormously grateful if you were happy with me.’

It’s unclear when the pair are set to welcome their child but it’s evident that their preparations are well underway with a nursery ready for their newborn’s arrival.
