Here’s When ‘NCIS,’ ‘Chicago Fire,’ ‘Matlock,’ and Your Other Favorite Shows Return in 2025

The midseason schedules for <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/nbc/?swcfpc=1″>NBC</a>, CBS, ABC, and Fox are stacked with new and returning shows, including the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/ncis-sydney-season-2-premieres-january-2025.html/”>season 2 premiere of <em>NCIS: Sydney</em></a><em> </em>and the series finale of <em>9-1-1: Lone Star </em>on Fox. <p id=”par-2_26″>NBC kicks off 2025 with the return of Reba McEntire in <em>Happy’s Place </em>on Jan. 3 at 8 p.m., followed by <em>Lopez vs. Lopez </em>at 8:30. </p>

<p id=”par-3_17″>New medical drama <em>Brilliant Minds, </em>which stars Zachary Quinto, is back on Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. </p>

<p id=”par-4_9″><em>The Irrational </em>returns on Jan. 7 at 10 p.m. </p>

<p id=”par-5_14″><em>Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, </em>and <em>Chicago P.D. </em>premiere Jan. 8 starting at 8 p.m. </p>

<p id=”par-6_14″><em>St. Denis Medical </em>and <em>Night Court </em>return on Jan. 14 starting at 8 p.m. </p>

<p id=”par-7_21″>New episodes of <em>Law & Order, </em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/mariska-hargitay-gives-update-feelings-towards-law-order-svu-exit.html/”><em>Law & Order: SVU</em></a><em>, </em>and <em>Found </em>begin airing on Jan. 16, starting at 8 p.m. </p>

<p id=”par-8_42″>Three new shows are also coming to NBC in the new year. <em>The Hunting Party </em>premieres Feb. 3 at 10 p.m. <em>Suits </em>spinoff <em>Suits LA </em>debuts on Feb. 23 at 9 p.m., followed by <em>Grosse Point Garden Society </em>at 10 p.m. <em> </em></p>

<p id=”par-9_18″>CBS viewers will have to wait until the end of January for new episodes of their favorite shows.</p>

<p id=”par-10_31″>Monday, Jan. 27 brings the return of <em>The Neighborhood </em>at 8 p.m., followed by <em>Poppa’s House </em>at 8:30. <em>NCIS </em>and <em>NCIS: Origins </em>will air at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., respectively. </p>

<p id=”par-11_23″>The <em>FBI </em>shows – <em>FBI, FBI: International, </em>and <em>FBI: Most Wanted </em>– have their midseason premieres on Jan. 28 starting at 8 p.m.</p>

<p id=”par-12_38″><em>Young Sheldon </em>spinoff <em>Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriages </em>is back on Jan. 30 at 8 p.m., followed by <em>Ghosts </em>at 8:30 p.m. Kathy Bates returns as Madeline Matlock in <em>Matlock </em>at 9 p.m., with <em>Elsbeth </em>at 10 p.m. </p>

<p id=”par-13_32″><em>NCIS: Sydney </em>Season 2 premieres Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. <em>Fire Country </em>airs at 9 p.m. <em>S.W.A.T. </em>moves to its new 10 p.m. timeslot, taking the place of the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/see-edward-james-olmos-blue-bloods-series-finale-photos.html/”>canceled <em>Blue Bloods</em></a><em>. </em></p>

<p id=”par-14_21″><em>Tracker </em>is back on Feb. 16 at 8 p.m., while <em>The Equalizer </em>moves to a new Sunday at 10 p.m. timeslot.</p>

<p id=”par-15_29″>The new Sherlock Holmes-inspired series <em>Watson </em>premieres Sunday, Jan. 26 at 10 p.m. after the AFC Championship game. It moves to its regular 9 p.m. timeslot starting Feb. 16.</p>

<p id=”par-17_26″><em>Will Trent </em>Season 3 premieres Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. New drama <em>High Potential </em>returns at 8 p.m. <em>The Rookie </em>Season 7 premieres at 10 p.m. </p>

<p id=”par-18_12″><em>Abbott Elementary</em>’s midseason premiere is set for Jan. 8 at 8:30 p.m.</p>

<p id=”par-19_28″>New episodes of <em>9-1-1 </em>begin airing on March 6 at 8 p.m., followed by the return of <em>Doctor Odyssey </em>at 9 p.m. and <em>Grey’s Anatomy </em>at 10 p.m.   </p>
