Hollywood Duo Reveal New Year’s Resolutions

Hollywood Duo Jack Black and Paul Rudd have revealed what their New Year’s resolutions are for the start of 2026. Surprisingly, both actors are determined to keep things pretty basic with normal household chores, with Black and Rudd explaining they want to deep clean various parts of their houses. 


Jack Black and Paul Rudd Focusing on Cleaning for New Year’s Resolutions 

While speaking to People to promote the release of “Anaconda,” the two Hollywood stars explained that their main aim as 2026 approaches is to keep on top of the household chores.

For Black, he wants to deep clean his “man cave” to get it back into a more habitable condition. He said, “I’m going to clean out the man cave, once and for all. It’s getting pretty dank down there.”

According to Black, the room does get “the occasional scrub-a-dub-dub” but requires a more thorough cleaning to get it looking its best. He continued, “It needs that deep clean, where you get under and in betwixt every nook and cranny of that mo-fo.”

Rudd agreed with Black and expressed the view that it is important to make sure everything is kept in top condition. 

“You got to keep that thing sparkling. I will probably do my closet,” he revealed before explaining the joy he gets from doing exactly that. “By the way, I’m a big fan of cleaning.”

“I built shelves, and all of my storage, I have in tubs that are clear that you can see through them,” he continued. “All of my [expletive] is so organized, it’s a little OCD… If I’m in the middle of really tackling a cleaning project, I’m very happy.”


Jack Black Makes Touching Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne 

On July 24, Black shared a tribute to Ozzy, an influential figure to him in terms of his musical career.

Alongside images of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne album covers, Black wrote: “Ozzy!!! Rest in peace you legend. Much love to the family and all those who love the incredible music you made.”

The pair have worked together in the past, with Black inducting Ozzy into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 

“Plumber, car horn tuner, slaughterhouse worker, the greatest frontman in the history of rock ‘n’ roll. Ozzy Osbourne,” he said as he introduced the metal singer.

Black continued, “I remember the first time I heard of Ozzy. I was 13 years old, wandering around the record store … An older rock aficionado noticed my indecision, and he said, ‘Stop [expletive] around, kid. This is the album you need to get, The Blizzard of Ozz.’ Man, was he right!”
