Hollywood heartthrob Jacob Elordi is looking decades older after showing off an all-new beard.
The Saltburn star, 27, showed off the new addition to his face at the opening ceremony of the 21st Marrakech International Film Festival this weekend.
He was in attendance on official business as a jury member, where he took in a screening of the Jude Law crime thriller The Order.
Also on the jury are director Luca Guadagnino and actors Patricia Arquette, Andrew Garfield, Virginie Efira and Monica Bellucci.
However, it’s Jacob’s face fuzz which really had the internet in a tizz – with many shocked to see what the Hollywood hunk had done to his normally clean-shaven jawline.
Whether Jacob has brought on the beard for a new role is unclear – but the upcoming young actor does have plenty of work on his slate – including rumours that he will play Heathcliff in a new adaptation of Wuthering Heights.

‘Heathcliff mode on,’ wrote the Instagram user thequeenofirony, reacting to a snap of Jacob’s beard on the social media platform.
‘I fear he went from baby girl to daddy😍’ commented ginagreenberg.
‘omg I don’t know how I feel about this. Where’s my baby girl,’ wrote a conflicted connertrill.
‘Is he playing young Santa in some movie? 😵💫’ asked ximeaboites.
‘Its okay you guys don’t have to like Jacob Elordi with a beard, I’ll take 5 pls’ joked lillys.sunshine.
Those pointing out his resemblance to other Hollywood stars evoked such names as a young Matthew McConaughey or Christian Bale, while others, less charitably, suggested that it might be ‘giving Charles Manson.’
Ouch.

Australian actor Jacob rose to fame after moving to the United States in 2017, aged 19.
Acting as an extra on the set of 2018’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, he went on to appear in his first starring role that same year – the Australian film Swinging Safari.
At the same time, he appeared as jock Noah Flynn in the Netflix romantic comedy the Kissing Booth, springing the star to wider fame – sparking criticism after he slammed the movies afterwards, describing them as ‘ridiculous.’

After completing work on the film’s two sequels, Jacob moved to Los Angeles, where he starred as Nate Jacobs in the HBO drama Euphoria.
In the years since, Jacob has been a prolific star of the big screen, appearing as Elvis Presley in the Sofia Coppola-directed biopic Priscilla, and as a 19-year-old serial killer in the crime thriller He Went That Way.
In 2023, Jacob starred as Felix Catton in the steamy psychological drama Saltburn, playing opposite an unsettling Barry Keoghan.

Among his upcoming film roles, Jacob will star as Heathcliff in the latest adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights – reuniting with Saltburn director Emerald Fennell to do so.
However the project – which is also set to star Margot Robbie – has sparked backlash due to its casting, with fans of the original book being quick to point out that Jacob is white and doesn’t have the ‘dark skin’ of the literary Heathcliff.
Heathcliff’s skin colour is a major theme of the book, and a key reason he is is ostracised by his foster family.
The book has been adapted several times over the years, with white male actors typically selected to play this role – including Tom Hardy, Ralph Fiennes, Timothy Dalton and Laurence Olivier.
