David Pearce has been jailed for rape and murder, with a sentence running until 2171.

The Hollywood producer, 42, was found guilty of killing two women and raping seven others, with his 146-year sentence handed out on October 29.

He was convicted of the deaths of 24-year-old model and aspiring actress Christy Giles and 26-year-old Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, who were killed on November 13, 2021. The women both died by fatal drug overdoses.

It was reported that Pearce gave the women drugs, including fentanyl and date-rape drug GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate), at his Beverly Hills home after meeting at a warehouse party hours earlier.

Their bodies were left for dead outside Los Angeles hospitals by masked men.

The LA County District Attorney’s office highlighted how the events took place that night.

Thirty-five minutes after arriving at Pearce’s apartment, Cabrales-Arzola called a rideshare service to leave the location.

However, the women didn’t leave until 11 hours later when Pearce carried Giles out of the apartment, and an hour and a half later, Cabrales-Arzola was carried out.

Pearce dropped the victims off at two different local hospitals, with Giles arriving deceased at the hospital.

Cabrales-Arzola was resuscitated and died 11 days later, one day short of what would have been her 27th birthday.

Prosecutors argued during Pearce’s trial that there was no reason for Pearce’s DNA to be found on the two women – including under Cabrales-Arzola’s fingernails – if they hadn’t been drugged and then sexually assaulted.

Pearce committed numerous drug-facilitated sexual assaults against multiple women spanning 2005 to 2021, as was discovered in court.

The crimes included: three counts of forcible rape, two counts of sexual penetration by use of force, and one count each of rape of an unconscious person and sodomy by use of force.

All seven victims testified at trial to Pearce’s ‘sexual depravity and violent tendencies,’ said the report from the DA’s office.

Pearce was found guilty of the crimes in February and sentenced for several other sexual offences.

Judge Eleanor Hunter ordered the maximum of 25 years to life for each murder, with additional sentences for rape.

Pearce’s IMDb acting credits are all from 2006 and 2007 and include: Tooth and Nail, The Valley of Tears, American Experience, and Aida I Saw You Dead Last Night.

Some reports have suggested that he was a ‘fake producer’, with some suggesting he was actually a club promoter who used his sparse credits to fob himself off as someone in the entertainment business.
