Hollywood icon Glen Powell has revealed his secret double life after sharing he has gone back to university.

The Twisters and Hit Man actor, 37, first attended the University of Austin in 2007 to study their Radio, Television, and Film programme, but dropped out after a year to focus on his acting career.

Almost two decades later, the star has revealed he is hitting the books once more and is enrolled as a student at the University of Texas to finish his degree.

Speaking to Variety with his The Running Man co-stars Josh Brolin and Lee Pace, he baffled the duo with a simple question.

‘Hey, you guys wanna come to my graduation?’ he asked, to which Josh responded, ‘Are you serious?’

He explained that he is set to graduate and receive his bachelor’s degree in 2027 after ‘finishing properly.’

Lee asked what I’m sure many of us will be thinking – how does he have the time to star in some of the world’s biggest blockbusters as well as achieve a degree?

Glen cleared up any confusion, explaining that he is only taking six credits per semester to balance the load.

‘I’ll throw a massive graduation party if you guys want to tear it up in Austin,’ Glen continued, and Josh said he will ‘absolutely’ be there.

Last year, the Top Gun: Maverick star told IndieWire that he would be completing lectures and coursework over Zoom while filming The Running Man.

‘I’m not going to be sitting in a class with other students on the regular,’ he began.

‘I’m basically going to be coming back because I have to finish up, but I’m going to be shooting The Running Man in the fall. So I’m going to be in London, but I am going to be going back for proctored exams. So, they’re letting me figure it out [with] distance learning.’

He went on to say that director Edgar Wright had been ‘very nice about letting him finish his degree in the middle of his massive movie.’

Glen joins a long list of celebrities who have returned to education after becoming famous.

After the release of the final Harry Potter film, Emma Watson graduated from Brown with a bachelor’s degree in English literature in 2014.

Barbie star America Ferrera left USC when she snagged a role in Ugly Betty, but she completed her degree in International Relations 10 years later.

Eva Longoria completed a master’s degree in Chicano and Chicana Studies in 2013, all while filming Desperate Housewives.

Meanwhile, even after winning an Oscar, Steven Spielberg completed his Arts degree in 2002, which he started almost 40 years prior.
