Just in time for Halloween weekend, one of the year’s most talked-about horror sequels has made its way to streaming — and fans are calling it the best of the bunch.
Hell House LLC: Lineage, the latest chapter in Stephen Cognetti’s cult-favorite found-footage franchise, is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, and viewers are hailing it as the most terrifying and satisfying entry yet.
The Hell House LLC series first haunted horror fans in 2015, setting its scares in the eerie halls of the Abaddon Hotel, a location that’s since become a modern horror landmark.
Over multiple sequels, the films built a devoted following for their unnerving atmosphere, slow-burn storytelling, and infamous clown mannequins that still linger in fans’ nightmares.
But Lineage, the fifth installment in the saga, seems to have struck a new nerve.
Dropping the franchise’s signature found-footage format for the first time, the film expands the mythology in surprising ways, and according to audiences, it’s a gamble that pays off.

Reviewer MattS wrote: ‘Best of the series! There were more serious jump scares. The story kept me guessing and it’s the first film in the series not filmed as found footage. The ending is open-ended and I hope a sixth film is in the works.’
Others agreed that the movie delivers on both scares and story. Becky LG praised the intensity, saying, ‘What an awesome movie! I was literally sitting up in my seat.
‘I was so into it I forgot about my popcorn… I know this is supposed to be his last Hell House, but it feels like it may have been left open for one more’
Meanwhile, Mike Thorp called Lineage ‘the best one so far,’ adding that the film ‘was extremely intense’ and brought the saga to a satisfying close — though he teased fans to ‘stay for the credits’ for a surprise payoff.

Directed and written by Cognetti, Hell House LLC: Lineage continues his long-running collaboration with producer Joe Bandelli, who helped build the series into a modern horror phenomenon.
While Lineage was billed as the final chapter, the film’s ambiguous ending suggests that the door to the Abaddon Hotel might not be closed just yet.
Whether you’ve followed the series since its microbudget beginnings or you’re discovering it for the first time, Hell House LLC: Lineage promises a perfectly chilling watch this Halloween season.
Hell House LLC: Lineage is available to stream now on Shudder via Amazon Prime Video.
